only that the cloud will eat up (small) parts of your XSN balance. if you want to max your XSN balance, you can easily use any VPS provider there is or ZCore if you like

Yeah as said you will pay $0.15 a day in XSN so at current price 1 and a bit XSN per MN on using MNaaS. If the price of XSN goes up then it will be less XSN. The XSN used to pay will be taken from your cloud account so need to keep that topped up but the benefit is that while it’s there it is also staking so you are paying a bit less as staking rewards come in. Some people stick enough on the cloud so their staking rewards alone cover the cost of the MN but that’s up to you.

If you want a hassle free system then MNaaS is pretty much setup and forget about it and let them run your MN for you.

If you want the absolute most cost effective method then it’s obviously cheaper to setup yourself but is a bit more of a hassle
