Seconded. I came here late 2017 after a chainlink shill thread on pol. Ended up never going back. Bought a good stack early 2018. Got super lucky to be able to buy at the absolute bottom, my portfolio never had a single day where it was in the red.

Yep, I almost had the same story but I bought at around 40 cents early 2018 so I got to watch my investment fall by about 50% during 2018, but I never even considered selling because the link community on /biz/ was just too fun, and of course also because I did my research. Turned out to be the best financial decision of my life, what a ride.

I was a newfag on 4chan only came after coinbase pump because a friend on discord told me about link. I have no way of getting in touch with him now. Perhaps but I never even considered buying crypto until it was shilled on /pol/ by some people I really respected because of their posts higher up in that thread. They even walked me through the steps on where to make an account, how I had to buy eth first and then send that to trade for link etc. I really don't think I would have bought it if it wasn't for their effort. And they did it knowing they had no chance of getting any reward in this life beyond just helping other poltards, I really can't think of anything more worthy of respect than that. I hope to live a life worthy of their magnanimity.
