Tether is under investigation for the 830M of money stolen from them by a sketchy bank in Eastern Europe. There is no Tether scandal, the US is flexing its muscle against people trying to move around them. The lawsuit acknowledges tether is 73% backed by cash, the only reason it is 73% is because of the money stolen, they probably set that up to go after them.

Mt.Gox coins were 80% sold from 2017-2019. Japan authorities approved civil rehabilitation, meaning creditors will get some cash and some bitcoin back. No more large dumping.
