21200551 No.21200551 [Reply] [Original]

I'm a LINK Marine with over 7k LINK; however, I've noticed BAND experience parallel price increases with LINK, and it's in the DeFi space, too.

I haven't seen much shilling or discussion of BAND here. Can anyone explain 1) What is it? 2) Is it a LINK threat, and 3) Is it too late to get in?

Thanks in advance, autists.

The other way around
BAND is a chinese copy, it's being artificially pumped, and it's presented as a LINK competitor. LINK investors now have to pump LINK to BAND levels, if only for PR purposes

It’s a literal pajeet shitcoin that’s copy and pasted Chainlink code with 20 million tokens and no actual infrastructure.

This BAND pump is another last ditch effort to part you of your LINKies, AMPL was the one before it.

You are being tested. Don’t get turned into a donkey anon.

It’s what chainlink should have been. Open source.

Imagine thinking copy&pasted code is a threat. If anything was to happen to band protocol oracles they wouldn’t even be able to explain the breach in security etc, they’d have to go ask chainlink. In regards to buying Band, go for it. They’re on goybase, it’ll probably moon as oracles become a buzzword. But it will never be as profitable and mathematically guaranteed as chainlink.

Biased as was put together by Marines, but they made some great points. All Band supporters responses have been laughable at best.

I've read that BAND is still in testnet, imo it's overvalued, but if you've made money.. grats!

Only thing mathematically guaranteed is that Sergey’s 650 million tokens falling on your head as he skates off to the Virgin Islands and his dad rolls several Aventador SVJs out of the Lambo dealer

I never said shitcoins can’t make you money, but it’s a house of cards with no future. Personally wouldn’t keep my investments in BAND long term, but that’s your decision.

Lots of people made money off AMPL too.

True, it would have been nice to see BAND shilled here as frequently as AMPL this past month. I recall a myriad of AMPL threads, not a single BAND thread. I'm still 90% LINK.

Helpful, thanks anon.

Interesting take. Do you have any examples/evidence?

>>21200885
Red flag. This makes me think the recent pump is in anticipation of this.

BAND has been shilled here plenty but not as much recently.

If you are looking for small caps to split into OCEAN, Loopring and yes even RLC seem to be ok to hold small stacks of.

Those are my current bets, but nothing has better long term potential than LINK, but I understand restless desire and diversions, just try to stay focused on what got you here.

I appreciate the advice, anon. Indeed, the desire for diversions stems from watching the BAND rally this past week. It's only normal to wish to have partook in it.

I'll look into OCEAN, Loopring, and RLC. Appreciate it.

It's Chainlink but on Cosmos instead of Ethereum. Cosmos is probably the biggest DeFi ecosystem after Ethereum. It's a good hedge, cause Cosmos is gonna grow alongside Ethereum
