Also put spread shill, can you explain yourself? I studied put spreads vs naked puts and found that it's virtually impossible to have RR higher than 0.8 or so, but you claim to get 3.0. Naked puts can be rolled for credit indefinitely, while spreads can only be rolled by martingaling for credit, otherwise there's a debit cost.
Overall, I found that the only reasons to ever do spreads over puts is:
- you want to reduce margin requirement, e.g. you're too poor to afford 100 shares on margin
- you want higher returns at the cost of far higher actual risk (as opposed to theoretical risk).
Naked puts are profitable even when stock goes down up to 1%, has a far better curve because of the lack of long put (i.e. reaponds better to theta), has far less loss in contrarian markets, especially early on, and as mentioned can be rolled forever, generating extra credit with every roll.

MM's will often use this to their advantage because they pay brokerages to look at the order flow and can see if there are a bunch of orders there, and if it is really obvious they will manipulate price down there to knock out all of the stop losses to get the liquidity they need before taking the price higher. happens all the time. happening on TSLA right now in fact, just knocked out the LoD crowd. the more obvious it is the more likely it is to happen, you'll notice the big volume bars when price breaks those areas because of it.
