They will assign the account to someone with a target price attached to the purchase, meaning if he can secure the shares at 30.00 he will get a bonus of 10 cents per share however if he is able to purchase shares at 20.90 he will receive a bonus of 20 cents per share. So he will sit there for days if not weeks waiting for the price to drop , he will buy as much as he can at 2.90 , the price will go up and then he will wait to purchase at 2.90 again. This is part of the reason you will see huge buyers/ sellers at certain numbers

The payroll deferral starts 9-1. So you'll see a small increase in take home pay in September. However unless they change it, in January 2021 you'll have to pay back every dime differed when it comes tax time. So yeah I'd just punt that "extra" income aside just in case.

I know that logically there are 4 times as many shares, but somehow this goal feels a lot more attainable.

I'm feeling that too, like 5-7 days ago specifically they started giving me 2 unskippable 15 second ads in a row. Normally that wouldn't be a promblem with adblock but I like to listen to lectures on my phone while I fall asleep, so now I get jarring 30 seconds of loud annoying ads >:(
If you look at how traffic was distributed on the early internet there were thousands of "big" sites that people visited daily, it being condensed into the big social medias and youtube only has been a disaster

I could probs have got a mortgage years ago but I don't want to lose the NEET net I have to a house deposit. The fees seal the deal... I spend hours debating over small purchases and I would lose THOUSANDS to parasite middlemen to do this.

I have about 150k in cash rn. About another 150k in my 401k invested. Feel like all the big money fleeing bonds is pumping stocks, and the government is pumping stocks, and the valuations are already stupid before all that, so I pulled a lot of cash out. Thinking of deploying shorted term in a day trading account, have one set up with 30k that I don't use. Any advice? Will a gambling addiction make my life more exciting?

I wonder what this actually means.
You could perhaps take the responses as the "other side" being brainwashed by fake news and propaganda pieces, while believing that "your side" is telling the truth.
Republicans could have responded thinking only of CNN, while democrats could have responded thinking only of Fox.

The market is a desolute wasteland. Up, down, up, down, up, down, all day I see the same thing over and over. Yet alas, there is a shining beacon in the darkness. I will latch on and let it take me to its most unimaginable land. My shining star is Apple.

Weekends are boring.

Obviously that's what it is.
Everybody thinks the 'other side' is being manipulated and fed fake news. The only ones that blame the whole apparatus are people on the fringes (who of course believe that their favorite fringe podcast is the only one 'telling it like it is') and people that have detached from day-to-day politics entirely.

>$470 rent
>$300 groceries (very conservative estimate)
>~$700 remaining (after some luxury shit from time to time like ice cream)

>shove $500 into stocks
>$200 toward a 3 month emergency fund (~$2400, finished in a year)
>after fund is done, put the whole monthly $700 into stonks
>a weekly return of 0.5% on the stonks
>$50k in 4 years, quit job
>buy a house in some abandoned village for $10-20k
>set up solar panels and a greenhouse for $10k
>start an online business with $10k
>keep/reinvest $10k in stonks

Unfortunately I can't move back in with my parents because I live/work in a different country, so I'm wasting $470/month.
