I think in time OMG will decouple from ETH. The “save ETH gas prices” is just marketing for OMG to get exchanges on board.

They are different use cases at this point. OMG is building a payment rails for not only all of blockchain but the emerging CBDC market. ETH is basically a smart contract sandbox where weird shit smart contracts either make people $10 million or all of their funds get stolen.

The price needs to break that point with a massive volume and there are still walls until 7.

It can happen by fomo, but not in short term.
