Alright /biz/ enough LARPing I know most of you are wagies so lets share some tips and tricks to get over on your place of employment. I'll start with some tips of my own
>Find the part of job nobody else wants to do and master it
>After mastering find ways to drag it out as much as possible
>Always go for positions that will leave you unsupervised throughout the work day.
>NEVER EVER UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES do more than is expected of you.
>You finish more work = no reward, only more work
>NEVER make friends with coworkers. Casual accquantanship is okay.
>NEVER admit you are a fuckaround, slacker, etc around coworkers. ALWAYS project that you are working hard even if you aren't.
>NEVER show you hate work. "How are you anon?" Great! "How was your weekend anon?" Great! "Ughh, Monday again anon" Yep it's monday!
>Identify and exploit weak managers.
>Always clock in early.
Advanced tactics:
>If starting a new job start out busting your ass crazy hard and then slowly drip into unproductivity.
>Work on identifying work places that can't keep people. If they can't hire somebody quickly to replace you there's a good chance you can get away with fucking around signifcantly.
>Never reveal personal life. You never know when your grandma needs to die, car broke down, etc
>Try to carve out an hour every shift to research portfolio, crypto, other job opporutunities, etc.
>Strategically sabatoage important process to ensure downtime or less work.
>Call sick on important days randomly.

No matter how you cut it waging sucks and if you're waging you're probably getting cucked. That's okay. It doesn't have to be forever and if you develop a wide aresnal of fuckaround tools you'll find that waging isn't actually all that bad. Using these methods and your guy's methods we can all fuck around while plotting our escape from wage cuckery.

Some more stories to get this going
>Work at call center
>Become buddy-buddy with based boomer
>Get promoted to "expert"
>No more phone work, spend days walking around the sales floor answering peoples questions
>Eventually sales floor gets split into two rooms. Rooms on opposite sides of building
>Spend most of day in car, blazing, or eating lunch while claiming to be moving b/w buildings
>Management never catches on

My contribution
>work ahead but NEVER tell anybody you worked ahead. Once you are ahead, less stress, can use ahead work to leave early when you want, or to impress somebody if needed, etc.
>When theres a piece of work only you know how to do, try to keep it that way, so that you are the only one with the necessary knowledge

Even better on that last point if you're forced to train someone else on something only you know how to do always be very vague but approachable. You want to seem like you're chill and explaining everything ok, but the new guy just can't get it.
>>22138924
I don't agree at all with this. I see many managers doing this same kind of stuff and I can assure you these guys are making 70k if not more. However it's not as simple as just fucking around. Cultivating the talent of "productively" fucking around at work is difficult though extremely rewarding if you do it correctly. There's a great deal of stratedgy to this.

this is objectively true for any office job, depending on the size of the company you can rapidly propel yourself to top management by doing these things. one thing you missed through anon, and which im sure many here will appreciate is that
>>Identify and exploit weak managers.
is only half the story. you need to learn how people think and what they value. just learn how to exploit their social guilty pleasures. for example, many in management got to where they are by gossiping rudely and snitching on their colleagues - so you should do the same if you want to make it to the top. they enjoy this kind of behavior and will quickly come to view you as "one of us."
another very good tip is that if you can, try and get someone else to "help you out" on part of your work that you have already completely mastered. start to colonize more and more of their time with "helping you out" and eventually you will be that person's manager. ive done this at least five times and conquered entire swaths of the company in doing so. both myself and my S/O used this technique to alarming success.
again these tricks work at smaller companies such as op is talking about. most of this stuff wont work at fortune 500s or whatever college kids want to do these days
you need to understand that the corporate structure is a battleground, but those who act brashly and try to move quickly are the biggest targets. dont be a bull crashing through the door. be a termite. slowly infest and grow your colony of influence. remember the goal: to get paid to browse /biz/.

I can see how you think this is a contradiction, but clocking in early doesn't mean you are working more. Chances are you arrive a few minutes early to work anyway if you are planning to not be late, so why not clock in? I clock in 5 minutes early at minimum and don't start working until shift start. On paper it looks like I'm going the distance, but management is too incompetent to track this.
>>22140637
Extremely based. Thank you for expanding on my original point Anon. ygmi. Want to also reinforce the point about targeting smaller companies with these kind of tactics.

>> No.22140883

>>22140749
based sees based.
"targeting" makes it sound like you're doing something bad. honestly though, you arent. companies WANT these kinds of people around, who dont care about their colleagues feelings but nonetheless know how to game the emotions of the people. they will see that you get people to be more productive by dumping your work on them. you are actually building value by doing this. it is counterintuitive but that is the fundamental principle of management: it is counterintuitive to everything normies imagine Hard Work to entail.

1: use all their valuable benefits - I try to take the company to the cleaners if they’re offering anything for free.
2: potlucks - I typically bring in something sub $10 but will take all the left overs and extras home.
3: printing - bring an extra usb stick and print all the things you need done at work for free
4: bosses - if you have a female boss your days are numbered. Prepare an exit plan
5: always always seem stupid and dumber than what you really are
6: promotions - talk to other managers in other departments about being promoted. Do not mention to your boss this until the last minute. Jealous is a bitch, and even then it’s best to mention it like “no big deal”
7: cliques - work is high school 2.0, use your time to plan your escape from this hell hole so that you’ll never have to return to it again. Trade, work on a business, sell crack if you have to but always be aiming to getting the fuck out of wage slaving

The point you made about “working hard” in the beginning of a new job is probably the most important one. Once you’ve cultivated a self-image that portrays you as a hard worker, you’ll always be seen as such. Minor mistakes will be overlooked due to your manager’s perception of you. On the other hand, starting off poorly will mean that you’re constantly micromanaged and small mistakes become infractions that are mentioned in your performance review as areas of development.

The other point that helps a lot is to make sure that you always verbally contribute to team stand-ups and use the corporate lingo; i’d like to present X to the team which I’ve observed and it may be worth other team members checking, as it could be the start of a theme. No one gives a shit and no one will action what you say. But it makes you stand out as proactive and mature.

Honestly it’s all about optics.

> first team in current workplace I made so many mistakes, basically ended up always getting bad performance reviews and being micromanaged cause didn’t know how to play the game
> moved department and teams, now I speak to my manager once a week and he delegates my work to me and let’s me do it with no supervision. He thinks I’m based and gives me great performance reviews
> much happier at work and have time to pursue my own interests while getting paid a stable income
