People are seriously underestimating what Brave could accomplish in 2 years and what they could look like in 5. Theres a potential 500x here or more if people zoom out. My take is that people dont realize how big the advertising market is and where brave sits in the conversation. Once brave starts scaling it will move fast. It took facebook 6 years to make its first billion. 11 years later it takes them 9 days to add another billion. Brave is about 5 years old. They could crack a billion in 2-3 years and then from there it will probably be on full coast mode.

Could be even bigger than ads. Check out this thread for what Eich envisions BAT to be. BAT is an absolute long play and I also don't think Brendan or the Brave team have any interest in pumping their token just like you stated. Other Bizzers have stated that they have declined any type of investment and are just taking traditional bank loans if they require money, because they know they are hitting a home run.

Yeah the ad industry is massive, and its braves flagship product, but knowing Eich I think he has his sights on web3 payment rails. Pretty sure he tried to go heavy on the smartphone OS and hardware market around the same time as blackberry but got cucked by the board at firefox. This time he has more autonomy and I have always figured his big play is to take a bottom up approach on web payments. Develop a 1 click bank thats fraud proof. No need to pull out your credit card online and just swipe your phone at the store or over a friends phone for payment.

As someone who works in the media (non-disclosure risks and my skepticism of VPNs in mind), bitcoin's boom and subsequent bubble burst was a press invention. There's a reason why the lottery is broadcast and boomers buy-in. Contrast the coverage of Cambridge Analytica, Western hostility to China's internet ownership and Australia's vice grip on Google's balls at the moment... Just as grandma was asking you, her pockmarked descendent how she could make money based on pundit proliferation, so too will BAT blow up as an alternative to neo-McCarthyism. All it takes is a push in the public eye. Finance experts on MSM can't cover it now because we know anything promoting better sources of marketing returns will get us in trouble. It's up to bloggers and neets with wordpress accounts or YT channels to rally behind it enough.

Mate - I wouldn't use the browser with the sole purpose of earning rewards. Its fuck all - but its neat. In future the tokens you earn now may be worth a non novel amount. I think some websites you browse now can influence your adverts. Given its founded on blockchain, and has a lot of interest from people into blockchain industry, you most likely already consume content related to crypto. A lot of the adverts at present are for crypto such as different exchanges and hardware wallets. Just use it normally and see what pops up.

BAT as such is reflective of ETH's price with very little variation. Investing in BAT is effectively investing in ETH as they will both have ups and downs at the same time.

I expect for the sake of preventing volatility that BAT views ETH as slightly lower than reality. Otherwise BAT's would be worth more than 1/6400th of an ETH allowing for trading between the two for profit.
