There are plenty of scams. Its essentially all based off the idea of "locking" your cryptos in some manner. You are sayong that you will not use them for a certain amount of time, this allows them to be used for other things. Those other things gain returns off of your locked crypto. You get a %. Now multiple you by the entire world and try and imagine how many new financial schemes there can be.

This. Staking I know about, it's basically staking rewards for holding a specific asset/token. It's no different than a dividend in stock terminology. ALGO, XTZ are popular ones, and I'm sure there are others. XTZ is automatic (or rather just a setting once you own a small amount). Algorand is one where you have to download the app from your app store and send your ALGO to the wallet for immediate staking. Definitely better than XTZ.

Farming is still a new concept to me though since it's so new. That I'd like answered.

1. get metamask, this will be your digital wallet for shit coin buying. this is a topic in itself as you want to understand how to securely setup your wallet. you can look this up there is plenty of information in the archive and jewggle. other alternatives can be atomic wallet. airlock machines where you will setup the wallet, etc. just look it up.
2. find an exchange where you can buy shitcoins. coinbase is for friendly for newfags and binance. later if you do it more often you can look into other exchanges for coins not on binance or coinbase or whatever. don't buy yet, just get it all setup. uniswap is a nice way as well but be careful of pajeets scammers.
3. read and research the shitcoin and understand the political implications around crypto itself (ie. the fourth revolution). check archive, etc. if you understood my #5 and #6 than you are already more aware of shit than most retards on this board.
4. understand about TAXES and how crypto to crypto trades is taxable because of the kike-controlled-system. learn about this, understand how you will be tracking it. i fucking see this come up so many times because newfags don't understand this can fuck you sideways.
5. only after this you can actually buy shitcoins and gamble away your life savings, wageslave bucks, NEETbux, or whatever. understand that people on this board are going to try to make you sell when you shouldn't (see #3 about strong hands and not selling unless you are absolutely sure) and kikes control this system.
i will emphasize again, it is gambling. good luck.

The only thing they can maybe see is you moving money off a big name exchange like coinbase, but how the fuck will they know what you spent it on? Its practically impossible, and expecting the IRS to ever audit that dogpile seems crazy.

its so user friendly that it fucks you over on uniswap cos it purposely opts for the lowest gas fee and cant be changed, meaning you'll get transactions that wont go through or get stuck
use metamask or trust wallet as these let you change gas fees

think of uniswap as p2p trading
people put up their shitcoins as the liquidity and get rewards back for doing so as an incentive
search the shitcoin you wanna buy on coinmarketcap and get its token address, put it in uniswap and you can start buying

once you made the trade you can then convert it to eth/link/btc/anything that coinbase trades with and cash out to fiat if you want

Tip for ppl with stuck transactions. You can enable custom nonce settings. Nonce is like index number of each of your transaction. When you have stuck transaction due gas fees skyrocketing, you can make another transaction with setting higher gas fee and entering the same nonce number of stuck transaction. The first one will be cancelled at the moment the second succeeds. Don't use built in cancel or speed up features for transaction in Metamask, they suck.

Thanks the bros who make these threads for newfrens.

I'm roughly familiar with crypto but outdated so to speak. I've got a small amount in Monero which is useful as a currency because of its unique set of privacy benefits (compared to most everything else) and so I can see how it has value - in the same way that VHS tapes got established part of the time over the (technically superior) Betamax because the nascent home video porn industry went with VHS, Monero's value stems from its privacy - on darkwebs or elsewhere.

What I don't see is how many current, NON-mineable coins, or especially "tokens" on some other blockchain (ie tokens on ETH ) are valuable or useful. This also goes for a lot of other even high market cap coins like TRX and the like. It all seems like basically an obfuscation designed to only be valued by speculators, for other speculators. Some of the newer shit - like the UNI everyone's talking about today definitely seems to fall into this category. Sure, i get it if you did whatever you did before Sept 1 in order to get a bunch of free UNI I get fucking with it and trying to make more cash, but what about those that didn't use it before Sept1 and don't qualify? Should we still buy in? Also, I don't see what "uniswap" actually fucking does, to the point their token UNI accrues value - it seems like another list of whitepaper gobbledygook for "I hope enough people use and trade in my shitcoin, vs a ton of other tokens that are no different, so those who have a ton of the premine/stake etc.. can profit", vs using something like raw ETH or another blockchain asset entirely. Everything is another "blockchain asset for decentralized liquidity contract governance etc..."

Overall any advice for what its good to know about crypto these days, good sources of info etc... is appreciated. Thanks

Ok fellas, I've got the metamask and linked it to uniswap, I've also done the custom gas fee on settings.

-now lets say i want to convert 0.1 eth to pnk, would i run that thru uniswap, and offer gas if that comes up.

-once i collect the PNK for example off uniswap, would that be sitting on uniswap or would the PNK be on my Metamask wallet safe and sound?

Now how would I get on this yield farming wave? I see ETH-USDT Liquidity Mining on uniswap for example, and it says Step 1. Get UNI-V2 Liquidity tokens
?
UNI-V2 LP tokens are required. After you've deposited into the ETH-USDT pool you can stake your liquidity tokens on this page.

So would that mean I have to convert osme eth to uni in order to particapte in this pool?

Plus how does this pool shit work

A Uniswap liquidity pool is a pool for a token pair that allows people to trade one of the tokens for the other.

The two sides of a pool are considered to always be of equal value (in USD). This is why when you add liquidity to a pool, you must add an equal value of both tokens at the same time.

When you sell A for B, you're adding to the A side of the pool and taking away from the B side of the pool. Since the two sides are considered to be of equal value, this means the price of A (denominated in B) goes down. This is how the exchange determines price.

For each trade, there is a 0.3% fee which goes to the liquidity providers for that pool.

Itll be sent to your uniswap, you need to add the token address to your uniswap as well to see it pop up, and anon, the minimum for farming is $10k

Yeah shit i aint gonna be dropping 10k
to my first question with normal converts,

can i deposit ETH on metamask, connect to uniswap, buy a shitcoin eg. PNK and convert. my ETH to PNK and pay gas if needed, then will this PNK end up in my metamask automatically?

so then i could hold the PNK / (insert shitcoin here) until it goes up in value alot, then come back to uniswap , trade it back to eth at a gain and have the extra eth moved back into my metamask wallet?

Is that how it works?

Thats its exactly it anon, itll automatically show up in your metamask, you just need to add the token address, when you swap something on uni, it automatically shows up in your wallet, just remember when dealing with stuff like that you need to add the custom token address to view it in your metamask

Start here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bBC-nXj3Ng4

The same applies for Ethereum, except instead of transactions just containing token transfers, transactions can also create contracts (programs) and/or call functions of contracts. Each contract has an ETH balance, its code (which is unchangeable), and storage (the current values of its variables). The storage values may only be changed by the execution of one of its functions. During execution, the contract may call its own functions, call functions of other contracts, send ETH, or look up blockchain/network data.

For how to set up a miner, you can google it or look it up on youtube.
