i picked a common buzzworld in the ethereum space of 2016 then capitalized on the ico bubble to launch my own project. instead of going heavy on marketing like other shitcoins, i made it a point to brand it as an under the radar thing, and require large pools as minimum investment (think of it as the apple strategy: make the customer feel he's part of a private club, elitist and exclusionary)
we raised a lot of money. so much that my original goal of fucking off on some island seemed small potatoes. instead i started hiring legit people to give appearance of work on the project
we're still trucking along today, in fact we even cobbled a half-ass solution based on our original vaporware whitepaper. you've probably seen our token mentioned on /biz/ even if you can't tell who we are

i did this thing called do drugs heavily and play video games from 14--->23, i have a bachelors degree in bullshit but i dont remember what i learned, and now i'm a security guard. currently 31 years old.

however, due to random autistic decisions, my net worth is around 350k despite only making ~37k/year gross lol. grats on your success though, if i could do it all over again, i'd probably just kms and save the trouble desu.

Ironically created a whole new title in my Industry. Most boomer bosses didn’t even question it. I am now a Director of Data an Digital Marketing Kek.. basically get paid to over look that the web dev and marketing people do their job. So I basically don’t do much and make my own hours.

About 10 years ago you could sell empty iphone boxes on amazon and ebay. I used to collect them from all my friends and family and ask at stores and repair shops. No adult wanted to go through the trouble to make like $5 per shipment. However I was just in middle school so for me making $20-$30 a week was amazing. It funded my magic card addiction
