that was APMEX
their premiums may be a bit high, but shipping for orders over $100 is free in the US

you have to do your own research anon. it depends on your location (taxes, shipping, reliable postal service...)
like I said, nothing beats going into a shop and getting the goods and paying cash. shop prices by phone at multiple shops in your area. then call back the one you make up your mind on and ask how late they open, then say you'll be there in an hour. with some shops, if you call them in advance and say exactly what you want and say you'll be there, they pretty much welcome you with a red carpet (at least that seems to be my experience). also keep in mind spot price may change by the time you get to the shop, especially on wild days, so don't freak out if it doesn't match always the phone price (but it shouldn't be excessive. if you're lucky it may drop a little). remember to inspect the goods. you don't want tubes of 20 ASE containing only 19 ASE!!!

I wouldn't buy Silvercorp, because the only reason why their financial situation is good is because they pay their Chinese workers horribly. You can't go wrong with First Majestic though. Excellent CEO who is the ultimate silver-bull, strong Sprott investment, extremely cheap for such a large producer. The only way to be safer is to buy something like Pan American, and then you're being _really_ boring. The only reason why I'm not in First Majestic myself is because I exclusively buy small-caps, but I hope that FMS buys them out so that I can become a shareholder one day and get paid in a silver dividend (as Keith Neumeyer wants to do).

10% is reasonable for gov coins. dunno about rounds (not a round buyer myself)
you can expect 5% to 15% as considered reasonable range for silver premiums. lower is better.

real silver will be very white when new, and will have black tarnish when old like junk silver. it's hard to fake the tarnish. it also has a very distinct clink sound when you hit two coins together that you can't get with other metals. if you plan to do that at the shop, get permission, especially on shiny new coins!

>> No.22701541

>>22701439
APMEX is more well known, so the resale of the bars could very well be easier/safer, though of course for straight bars you'd not look too far past whatever spot at the time is. The Aztec rounds may be able to be sold for a bit more due to their design, and are a bit cheaper, but may be harder to sell. Personally I'd have diversified a bit more with coins for easier resale, but if it's between the two I'd go for the MM cart.

TLDR,
If you want to pay a bit more on junk, but get a massive discount of oz. Go JM.
If you want to ensure a bit more discount go for MM.
If you want to risk having a little less resale due to randomness on generic while getting a better deal on junk. Go SD.

If you're just looking for straight metal, use this site, and look for cheapest/oz.

https://findbullionprices.com/closest-to-spot/

Again, this is if you're just thinking 'I want the most for the least'. Junk silver aint pretty, but it's very well known, very unlikely to be faked, and very easy to sell. You won't resell for much more than spot, but it's the way to go for purely efficient cost/oz.

Hi there guys, I have a question / a problem I am trying to solve. Has anyone on here ever heard or seen any mention of a company called Lost Glacier Resources, or its subsidiary company Retreat Resources? I ve been given the task of trying to figure out where they were working and what territory they were associated with, but I ve hit a brick wall. I know they were based from Vancouver, and at one point they had an office in Smithers BC, but that was in the early 2000s and there is no trace of them anywhere after 2001. I believe they may have been a shell company for a project but I have been unable to find anyone associated with them anywhere. None of the names of their geologists bring anything up and none of their management seem to exist either. Does anyone have any ideas?

You may be on to something bud. The name Glacier Creek does come up a lot in the documentation the client has provided me, it could be that this Lost Glacier Resources changed their name or sold / amalgamated with some other company and thats why i am not finding anything on them. That Silver Vista project also rings a bell. I ll report back if I find anything more.

It's an amazing feeling. With silver as well as gold, when you hold it in your hands, when you clink it, and admire the shine/beauty, you feel a spiritual connection, an energy that almost seems ethereal and out of this world.

It could just be a connection with all of our ancestors who had the same feeling, or there could be some real spiritual energy with it, I think it's the latter and this reason is why it's been the most valuable metal for the entire human history.

Gold and silver are God's money. No doubt about it. He put two metals in the earth which are perfect as mediums of exchange. This is corroborated by the fact that, every time we try to do away with them, and debase them, or choose paper-money instead, we destroy ourselves, and run into vice and corruption. Only sound money can give rise to a sound civilization.

Gold backed currency will be pushed by the jews. Remember it was decided the fed owns the gold in fort knox as collateral against the national debt, which equates to over 70 percent of the world gold supply. A silver backed currency would be much better because the market cant be as easily cornered, although I believe a system such as the greenback is superior for liquidity reasons.

Sure, but I don't actively stack them due to the general prejudice and lower public familiarity.
