Take it from me, I FOMO'd swung my 2k link bag into UNI when it was $7.39 and dumped it to USDC when it was ~$4.70. Yeah I know, make fun of me all you want, it was a learning experience.

Pretty common knowledge. Everything follows bitcoin in a normal cycle. You can detect when market manipulation is happening if the chart starts to deviate from bitcoin. I do this to figure out the best times to swing trade. During market manipulation it typically isn't safe to swing because it's too unpredictable. But if it's following bitcoin, at bitcoin's current price, and how bitcoin tends to follow the stocks, you can get a pretty good idea on when to buy and sell altcoins too.
