Hello mate. I use T212 for their Stocks and Shares ISA and I see a few other anons her posting screens of using the app too. It's pretty good. Like you say you can't trade pre- or after-market but they do have a very fast response usually to people requesting tickets be available and it seems like they're putting work and updates into the system (they very recently released investment pies).

They sell their technology to industry while bidding and winning US/UK government contracts, including with US DOD. I don't know about any other nations but extremely likely to extend to UK MOD in near future and probably FVEY in longer-term (they are List X and gaining contract experience).
What this means it that these public contracts have huge growth (logistics alone in militaries is a huge market for them) but also as it's technology then the systems they create will become standard for future contract requirements. For anything related to technology with government contracts you have a massive advantage as an incumbent supplier, which means easy extensions and renewals in addition to significant experience to bid for and win future work.
Also it's big data why the fuck wouldn't you bet on big data?

>pltr isn't easily scalable, its a b2b company
Only for consulting part of the business, in terms of packaged software there's no such issue and that's clearly where they want to grow.
>new customers are given the product for FREE
Yeah and their business model is to charge after an initial period because a company will typically adapt their workforce and systems around the product. Makes a lot of sense. It's essentially how public technology contracts work, the supplier does everything cheap intending to try and lock in a single-source environment and then raises price just below the large cost of what it would be to switch.
>huge upfront cost for pltr to acquire new customers, since every customers requires a customized version
True but this cost is eventually offset by customers and decreases over time.
>US govt are allowed to cancel any contract one year in advance, no matter what the initial agreed upon runtime was
Any contract with a sovereign entity will usually have at the very least conditions like Termination for Convenience, it doesn't particularly mean much and it's only exceptionally used because it incurs massive public cost.
>US govt are bot allowed to agree to contracts more than 1 year in advance
Okay this I didn't know, is that true? How do in-service defence contracts work then? In UK it's typically up to 4-6 years and then option years.

But how long does it take the Cookie Monster? That depends — is he making the same kind of cookies as you? Some cookies take longer to make than others. I mean, if you’re making chocolate chip cookies, after you’ve got the batter made, you have to mix in the chips. That’s hard work.

But before you can even mix in the chips, you have to do the work of getting the batter together. My wife bakes cookies a lot faster than I do — because she doesn’t actually measure anything. She kind of guesses! Sometimes she has good cookies. Other times, well, far be it from me to actually say how bad her cookies are.

Wait, we have to go even further. Is the Cookie Monster using an electric mixer? To make almost any kind of cookie, the first thing you have to do is cream the butter and sugar together. If you’re not using room temperature butter, that’s some seriously hard work. Heck, even if you are using room temperature butter, it’s hard work. An electric mixer will save a lot of time.

You do realize not all cookies bake at the same time and temperature, right? Some take 10 minutes, others take 20. And then after they’re baked, you’ll have to frost or decorate some types. Those look a lot nicer, too.

Furthermore, he’s supposed to make 6 million batches of cookies?! That’s a hell of a lot of cookies there, buddy. You didn’t even say how many cookies are in a batch. One big cookie is a lot easier to put on a sheet pan than 8 or 12 or 24. That takes time, too.

We haven’t even gotten to the storage problem yet. Where is he supposed to put all the ingredients? Did he buy all the ingredients already, or is he going to make a run to the store while his oven is still baking, thereby risking a fire and burnt cookies? Is he really so good at math that he can figure out how many grams of flour is in a cup, so to make 6 million batches he knows to buy z number of bags so he’ll have enough flour to make every batch of cookies? Then there’s all the other ingredients, so how many fluid ounces of vanilla extract is in a teaspoon anyway? The Cookie Monster must be rich to buy all the ingredients in one shot. And a math genius to boot.

And his oven is running 24 hours a day? When does this guy sleep?! And why the 5 year time frame on his ovens? Does that mean the math problem is supposed to be 5 years or less? What if it takes six years at 24 hours a day? Is that final year to be spent with an oven running only 8 hours a day, making him take three times as long to back the last year’s worth of cookies than the other previous years?

Not to mention that he’s somehow keeping up with 15 ovens at the same time. This guy is a, well, a monster!

Ok, ok, ok. Let’s just say he makes one batch of cookies in one hour with one oven, just like you do. He needs 24 hours to make 24 batches. So, he needs 6 million hours to make 6 million batches. But he’s got 15 ovens, so we can divide and find out how many hours it takes 15 ovens to do this deed. That’s 400,000 hours. To make that into days, we have 16,666 2/3 days. Divided by 365 days in a year, and you’ll get an answer that will be wrong. You didn’t account for leap years. However, I guarantee you he’s going to need a lot more years than 5 to make 6,000,000 batches of cookies.

As far as contract options go that sounds standard then, you'd usually have a contract duration of something like 5 years and then two 1 year option years thereafter.
>another issue for pltr is that they wont disclose the identy of their top 2 customers, this might cause a media outrage stirr in the future if there is some amoral shit coming out via whistleblowers etc

Firm neggers on working at uni - I only got my degrees as an act of defiance against the family curse, but succumbed at 25 and signed up. Joined the Navy as a pilot, and everything's gone up from there! Salary at the moment is somewhere around £55'000 with all the extra allowances/expenses. I was matching that through spread betting for the last couple of years though, before I got heavily into stocks. Access to the internet on aircraft carriers is limited, so at least I can hold my portfolio and roll in divvies while I'm away.

Not everybody's idea of a fun life, but hopefully a bit of optimism that you can turn things around any time and make your life what you want it to be. Which sounds lame, but what the hell, it's nice to be supportive!

A single stock on the american market is worth the entire english market. Yet 3x ETFs on single american stocks hardly exist. Whoever made that 3x rr ETF is trolling you on purpose to scam you. Not even kidding.
Aside from that:
- Inverse ETFs never track the inverse of the underlying, they're somewhat correlated at best. For commodities, it's basically completely uncorrelated.
- Commodity ETFs also poorly track the underlying, even when bull.
Finally, 3x ETFs are excellent long term holds. Only retards who literally invent concepts that don't exist think otherwise. It's the same kind of inbred that says "don't long TQQQ muh decay" and then longs TSLA.
