This is just BS fud they are spreading like what they did with Bitcoin when Silk road was popular. It's pretty bullish.

The fact that they're now doing this is just tacit admission that crypto and boomer paper failed which was always inevitable.
They won't do shit to monero or others btw. They'll try of course. But they will get nowhere because you just don't fight mathematics with regulation.
This is ridiculously bullish for monero but also for crypto in general.
Boomers realise they now have to bring about mass adoption somehow and will have to work towards that and then come up with their regulations later, kinda how they tried to regulate WhatsApp end to end encryption but also failed.

I've always been under the impression that the reason why BTC pumped so hard was because it was extremely difficult to buy or sell once mining costs went throught the roof and only big minners were in the game. Ever since BTC became relatively easy to buy and sell - after the initial rush with ETH and derivates speculation - price has barely moved an inch. I think the opposite will happen with Monero if it becomes a lot harder to get to it. Especially in an event where people with a lot cash need to move their money quickly without the government knowing.
