i day trade using two longer term EMA's and the williams%r to determine pullbacks in the trend and then reversals that return to the trend. i use different than default settings though, you'll have to figure that out yourself, but the concept should be obviously rock solid to a lot of you. on top of that you just use risk management and sell half at 1xATR in profit. simple as. if the faster EMA is above the slower, im looking for a pull back (especially to between the EMA's) that then starts going up again. if the faster is below the slower, im looking for a pullback that then starts going down again. only looking for longs in an uptrend, shorts in a downtrend. if the pullback just keeps pulling back into a trend reversal i simply take no trade at that time.

try it yourself some time. anyone want to debate my logic, feel free, should be simple enough even a 5th grader could understand the concept. my other strat is DCA'ing into fundamentally good companies under the 200 hour SMA. sell half above and sell the rest if it gets really overextended which i can also quantify with basic indicators.
