What can we do krautbros?
I want to bet a few hundred euros.
Has anyone more information on the law? Would it be illegal to bet via VPN?

I just found out yesterday when I wanted to check the Trump odds on bet365.
Was surprised I couldnt find it and eventually figured out it has to do with the
„Glücksspielstaatsvertrag“

Basically bunch of rules get changed like maximum amount you can gamble a month is 1000€ now.
Then more limitations on live bets, political bets, virtual dog races etc. all banned.

A Law to protect the dumbest motherfuckers from themselves.
They are ruining Germany.

Yes, just use a vpn. I'm in the States, we can't do online betting at all. But switch your vpn to a country more open to online gambling, and your fine (assuming your gambling with crypto).
