I been mining for two days and i've made $1.40 worth of ethereum but I'm worried about the electric bill and my videocard getting burn out.
But I also can't get paid until I mine 0.05 ethereum.
Should i turn it off?

What GPU? Chances are you are about breaking even on the electricity cost if you’re in USA. I bought a reader and did a ton of tests with my 3 current GPUs, some are better than others but kilowatt hour around me is about 12 cents an hour and the 8G RX580 which is a staple for ethereum mining nets maybe a few cents an hour. Unless you’re a total retard you’ve set a heat max on your GPU and it’s not going to have wear and tear like a car tire or something

I ran an open air mining rig back in 2018 in a non-airconditioned room with temps of 28-30c. My cards never went over 55C running 24/7. It's all about good airflow and undervolting. I was lucky and paid off the rig in three months mining shitcoins for a few days at a time when they peaked.
