When I get grocery delivery they always ignore my delivery instructions entirely. I live in an apartment that is structured similarly to a hotel so I tell them to park on a specific side and not to try to come to my door, and that I will go to them, but they ignore it almost every time and go to the wrong side and then piss around for 10 minutes before calling and saying "ayo where you at? Do you want me to leave the stuff here?"
