Lets say I have 500 usd in my acc and want to buy a stock that is priced for 2k. Do I need the full amount of 2k to buy it? I know of leverage or CFD is it called? Helps you trade big even though you have small amounts on hand.

If you want an ETF, I think CXSE is a pretty good broad China fund. For something more specific, KWEB or CQQQ look solid.

As for specific stocks, obviously BABA and TCEHY are the two big players, but there are some other competitive eCommerce retailers (JD, PDD) and internet/gaming related companies (NTES, BILI, HUYA). Then, of course, there is the EV sector where NIO and XPEV seems to be the way to go.

I am not the norm but live a comfy life. Married, one child. Buy used everything. Computers, electronics, phones, etc. Cars are over ten years old and I don’t spend more then 3000 dollars on them. Mercedes and Volkswagen. Buy from Amazon when the need arises. Shop at Goodwill and resell bargains on Craigslist. I don’t over insure myself or family and invest as much as I can.
