Can someone redpill me on Blockstream?
Critics say they basically control Bitcoin while I never hear anything about them anywhere else (including /biz/)
If this really was the case surely their name would come up way more often than ti is? What is the deal with it? Disregard prev post because I got the name wrong and it didn't get any replies for obvious reasons

They control the bitcoin git, they are the biggest developers of bitcoin and are stifling its development in favor of their own digital currency (forgot its name)
Basically this is why nobody is talking about bitcoin as a means of exchange but rather as a store of value
They aren't updating it, developing it and are instead working on their own currency that'll be the means of exchange and bitcoin as the store of value
