This. BTC, ETH, and LINK have become such large parts of the crypto ecosystem that you're basically betting that crypto won't collapse with this combo. (There's also Tether, but that's constrained to be $1 USD so it's a pretty shitty investment, you might as well buy Treasury bonds at that point.)
Feel free to throw in one shitcoin of your choice in a low quantity. I do XRP just for the memes. But at this point in the game, we're not going to see any amazing new tech overtaking the rest. Network effects are here to stay.

Was it in cash or was it already invested? If it's already invested you should probably just keep whatever it is she had, and enjoy the cash flow. If it is cash, then you have to do something with it. I'm assuming it's more than 100k, otherwise who gives a shit? If you are risk tolerant and can wait for returns, put it all in BTC and wait 5 years and you'll be rich as fuck. If you are not risk tolerant and it's enough to buy a house or small apartment complex, then buy real estate and collect rent. Don't buy any stupid shit like a fancy car or some bullshit watch. This is some fall on your lap money. If you’re broke or less than wealthy, put it down for 4% at any bank and forget about it. If your grandmother left you some fuck you money, shop around for hedge funds and see who wines and dines you better. I doubt you’re getting millions, though.
