There will be new gold-backed currencies after the collapse of fiat. Fiat simply means government money which is unbacked by anything. Currencies will still exist. You will be able to sell miners for rubles, yuan, etc., which are themselves convertible into gold. You don't have to sell a stock for the same currency which you bought it for. e. g. Italians who bought their stocks in lira went on to sell them for euros.

I really can’t see the new CBDCs every nation wants to implement being gold backed. Also remember a stock is only worth how much someone is willing to pay for it, so if people get turned off of the stock market in general I just see a life changing bull run on miners
