We didn't break the ATH in this recent pullback. Anytime we break an ATH, there's a steep pullback of at least 30%. We are currently slightly oversold on the daily, but there is still enough momentum to carry this above $20k. It's mostly speculation on my part given previous trends and it could just blow past $21k like it's nothing, but everyone is greedy as fuck and fomoing right now.

just think of it also in this sense: we got nice BTC run to last ATH, alts pumped up and followed standard correction pattern, just look at XRP and other alts.. run up to 79c, which was last big high, then it dropped to aprox. 50c and now has to pump up for suckers rally, before dropping down to around 30c again.

in emotional terms, run up to 78c = belief of bull run = normies jump in to provide liqudity for short vs traders that jumped in at 30c.

drop to 50c and below, panic sellers, thinking it's over = liquidity for traders that know it's just part of correction and are buying it to trade it into suckers rally

68c XRP after 50c drop = suckers rally, new false hope that we are going up, while every other trader is shorting into it, since normies are providing lots of liquidity for shorts.. and then when price is going to start reversing normies are gonna be panic selling into 30cents thinking it's over, just to be bought by traders that know how this emotional roller is played and can also find clusters of volume where biggest buying/selling pressure was.

this BTC pump to 19800 was pretty much due to nobody buying at 18950, since everyone was short, so even few traders got caught. But why squeeze? Well, if everyone is short and there's no liquidity, it's better to squeeze out price as much as possible, give normies more false hope to jump into and catch few stop losses, then burn it down on their heads.

it also plays out perfectly with weekly candles and narrative that BTC is going over 20k, when in fact it's only retards jumping in at these prices. Alts are also just about to start selling off their suckers rally and suckers are going to be panic selling in 3 days or so.

it makes perfect sense and plays into the whole narrative and emotional rollercoaster of normies being on the wrong side of trades.
