Unironically i think the best way to hide crypto from the IRS is to do run an illegal or off-the-books cash business and buy ETH with localcryptos, use uniswap from there. But you're trading IRS-finding-my-crypto concerns with a whole other set of concerns.

I handed the IRS three consecutive cease and desist letters stating that they had to prove my constitutional duty to pay income tax. and a bunch of other stuff, it was a nicely written letter. With 30 days to respond three years ago. I handed them in to my local city hall and court, and I recorded the clerk accepting them with my phone, and made the clerk say that she would file them of her own free will, under no form of duress. I never heard back from them, they don't mail me anything anymore.

Need more info especially regarding the Constitutional part. I understand that Direct Taxation was Unconstitutional with the ratifying of the Constitution but thought Amendments passed since then have nullified that essentially and made Income Tax "legal". Legal as in the Supreme Court refuses to hear cases regarding Income Tax anymore and the IRS can enforce the Income Tax part of the US Tax Code. Might be a bit off, but would like to hear your ideas and elaboration.

My initial post isn't really meant to indicate how deep the rabbit hole goes. But it goes underneath that so called tax lawyer. He, neither the man, nor the profession will ever see me.
