LINK literally is the standard in what they do and offer. The oracle network currently SECURES over $100 Billion in financial products. Chainlink is so important a whole financial system is being built on top of it, 4IR.

So let me ask you. how much value doe GRT secure?

If graph works fine now then why add a token? To decentralize it? Ok, fine. What is the barrior to entry? There is no barrior. If another product comes out and offers a better up time with cheaper service what product do you think a customer will choose.

LINK and GRT are nothing a like. There is no other option for secure data than Chainlink.

GRT is a dominant player, sure. But they can easily be replaced especially since they are in a very very crowded space. They just happen to be first mover advantage that does not have any propriety structure (netowrk effect) that makes clients need them and makes them stay with Graph.

Buy the way Token unlock after 6 months and the marketcap is 4+ billion. You guys are literally buying the top. unless you think GRT will be bigger than LINK, XRP and just under ETH.

I saw that people were comparing GRT to LINK which I think is retarded. so I chimed in my reasons.

they are nothing alike. one is literally the standard HTTP of blockchains. The other is a enterprise solution that querries data to UI.

One has an impenetrable infastructure due to network effect.

The other has a network that everyone uses currently but is prone to competitors offering better uptime and cheaper service.

LINK secures over 100 Billion in financial contracts. Without LINK defi doesn't work.

What does GRT secure? no one has been able to answer this.

So no, Chainlink is nothing like Graph. Those that keep pushing this narrative is literally using dumb money to buy the top so that when token unlocks (less than 6 months) they can dump what they got in the .01c range. VC money plays games.
