In reality you can boost your test scores through through education and conditioning, average IQ is going up because over time more people are getting the maximum boost. Biologically people are getting dumber not smarter but the effect of that is slower to show up on the averages.
Most redditors are 100 IQ plebs with a +20 conditioned boost and a desire to conform which creates the stereotype of the big boy. Is it really that hard to figure out even without the test? Have an idea but not the confidence to execute it solo. Have an idea but too fearful of the impact of others in order to test and actualise it as a group. Smart enough to talk yourself into believing you never really wanted it or you are too good for it anyway. Babied through situations for not really standing out, smart enough to blend in and fly under the radar, being told you are smart but neither learning to work hard to develop ability in something or having the exceptional raw ability to make study unnecessary.

People mould themselves to their surroundings. Being 110-120 IQ is good to coast on the fringes of normality. Most people just want to feel like they are doing a little better than those around them. You aren't going to make it in 130+ fields because you aren't smart enough as even the 130+'s are competing in fields with extremely talented people.

I like dumb people because I need them to do all the repetitive donkey work which I don't want to have to do.
