Is it time to end this shit for "office" "jobs"?
I can't believe how lazy most people are and just work 60-70% of the implied time at most. Nowadays even moreso when you don't even have to show up anywhere and just sit in your underwear browsing reddit.

I don't even have an office job. I work in a yard and I only do about 1 to 2 hours of work in a typical day. Often I'll do zero work, and if I wanted to actually be efficient I could probably. Do an entire week's work in about 4 hours.

The 40 hr work week is a HUGE contributor to malnutrition (no time for organic and homemade, must get McDonald's and Burger King for convenience. Because Subway and Chipotle are too far.), obesity (see: sedentary lifestyle) and mental health disorders (depression, homicidal thoughts, workpkace bullying, etc.).

I’m sure these jobs are different, and you can get away with different stuff

But for me I was basically pretending to work for 8 hours a day. Which is really fucking boring, and it’s self somewhat stressful if you get “caught” You’d think you can just go on your phone all day, but most of the time it’s not the case.

That being said I’ve gotten away with some hilariously retarded shit and made Ok money. But I wouldn’t do it again

Idk bros, things could be better, but relative to like 99.9% of humans before us in history, it's a pretty sweet deal. Surviving 100% on your own without the help of society isnt easy, bros. It's probably a lot harder work, that has to be done or you die. And if something happens like you break your leg, you also probably die because you can't really hunt your food or tend to your crops for weeks (bare minimum, and that's assuming it doesn't get infected, or the bone doesn't need to be reset, etc)

Maybe 1-2 hrs of work per day max, I can just read/play/whatever for the rest of the day, just need to make sure I don't miss any emails/calls.

Get a skillset that can't be done by either an unskilled Mexican or a pajeet who took Coursera classes.
This likely requires that you put in the hours doing something really autistic in your 20s, but once you hit your 30s and you start being considered "senior", most of your time will be spent as a middle manager in all but name, answering emails, answering questions from newbies, and attending meetings where nothing happens.
When you have a highly specialised skillset, they're so desperate to retain you that they won't drown you in busywork like they do the average wagecuck.
Once you get to that point, as long as you write reports well and show progress, you'll be getting good stars on your yearly reviews.
