...thousands of unemployed teaching assistant fresh from collage looking for a placement to even get into the field.
...most trades jobs are swamped with people from overseas with fake credentials
...finance, music, entertainment, and media is all gatekept by Jews so either blow them or don't get in.

I didn't even get a stupid degree, I'm in HVAC, there's over 200,000 homes in my city that ALL have furnaces that need maintenance, new buildings going up, etc.

Zero job openings. Not only is everything filled, they're bringing more and more people from overseas by the thousands, and using Canadian tax dollars to take care of refugees instead of our own freezing homeless.

couldn't imagine it will become so shitty by 2021. Overpopulation is the cause due to social welfare + the very social "safety net" contributes heavily to the survival of the psychologically pathological (immature and unconscientious) crowds. This is not really a left-right issue. same shit happened in the West and in the USSR in the 1970s-1980s with a huge spike in single motherhood and a drop in marriages. Japan reached the point of no return by late 1980s and China will reach it within the next two decades. This will probably never happen in the Middle East and most of Africa, so we will eventually come to a point when the Fed is abolished, the gold standard is brought back and we will go back to the medieval Islamic age.

Yep. Super fucked up that people still pretend like things are good.

Amazing how a 3k/month salary will totally blind a person to those around him... so...

The ones that don't have gaps in employment, stuck it out at the coca cola plant, and have proven their usefulness as a paid android who fulfills functionary cog tasks within middle management positions are the only ones who will ever hope for any modicum of a chance at being hired.

You basically have to have a good credit score to get a Job these days.

Like. You need to be in good standing with the system to get into a fortune 500 company as a dish boy.

When the alternative is bitching about unemployment, it's no wonder there's so many structural engineers working at Starbucks.

Not from inability... from noncompliance. If they sniff any rebellion in you, and sense you're not a total cuck faggot who'll do anything they need you to do, then you're literally not a good fit for the position. Crazy. But if you're a traditional man in modern western society, you're being bread out by fucking numales....

And because of the terrorist propaganda, you think revolution can't happen until everybody else starts. Google the bystander effect, apply it to mask compliance.

Herein lies a big part of the problem. Jobsites like Indeed have effectively done for hiring what Tinder has done for dating.
You apply to 100 jobs in like 15 minutes, assuming you even read the job description.
When I put out job ads I get probably 50 applicants a day and of them maybe 5 are even worth looking into, i,e doing my homework on them. If they look like a normal person who isn't going to cause a ton of issues for me at work I'll call them and go through the first screening. Of everyone I call I'd say about 1/3 don't even answer and 1/3 don't show up to their interview. Of the 1/3 that do show up I'd say 20% are unfit.
Keep in mind I do a lot of initial screening because we aren't hiring for a ton of roles and we are very customer facing. I can't just hire a bunch of retards with bad hygiene and drug problems.

Why would you hire someone who has big gaps in their employment history and doesn't even bother to explain why? Best case assumption it probably means you got fired, went through the interview process for X time and were DQ'd for some reason(s). Worst case it means you were in jail or rehab.
There's a lot of heroin addicts in my part of the country so if I see someone was in Florida for 6mos - 1yr that is usually indicative of them being in some kind of treatment facility there.
Keep in mind you are going up against literally hundreds if not thousands of other applicants all for what is probably shit tier work as the qualifications required for more professional work act as a natural filter.
Even though I am hiring for what is essentially entry level work we are located in a place with a lot of top quality schools. Most of those applications are low effort from people who aren't even suited to the job.

When I look for roles, and I am not senior, I expect to see maybe one or two new suitable roles every day on the job sites and I live in a moderately sized city.

I will get out one or two laser focused applications because of this.

Might take two months to find a job like this. That's say 100 applications or so.

Maybe there are also 100 other good candidates out there, and we all get one of these jobs.

Simplistic I know but there are always a ton of candidates for a job. Every job gets at least 20 or 30 serious applicants if you leave the vacancy open long enough but it's not like there is only one job available in town.

tl dr the ratios are nothing to worry about.

You're welcome. Here's another tip:

Look at the job ad and the bullet points it shows.

Now in your 3 or 4 concise paragraphs of your covering letter, put exactly what they were looking for in those bullet points. If you can, reflect this in your CV/resume itself too.

Absolute bitch made this post, without a doubt, but...

1. People don't realize how fucking insanely dumb people are that apply for entry level jobs. A lot of people here joke about having low IQ or claiming people have low IQ, but the people that apply to these jobs are: High schoolers, College students, drop-outs and/or complete fuck ups/genuinely stupid people.

I'm talking about people who can't even do basic algebra or install a program on their PC.

2. Lots of people on there don't even qualify or can't even speak English.

3. Gaps/Job hopping means the person isn't reliable, has major issues, and/or is lazy/too clever to be working there. It means that a person with gaps most likely won't put up with bullshit and will leave really fast because the work fucking blows and the boss won't be able to treat them like a slave for more than a month (which isn't ideal for that shitty entry level job anyway).

Travelling, learned skills, ...? Totally fine, just be ready to talk about it. Nobody gives a fuck besides that.

Sickness, children or similar private reasons? Totally fine as well. It's literally illegal in some countries to count in those gaps.

Same goes for a horrible market situation, e.g. if you're looking for a job in catering right now. HR people are not mentally ill and aware of that, especially since you will not be the only person with that issue in your industry.

Kept applying to jobs, but weren't hired for a full fucking year with a good economy? Something clearly is wrong with you, you keep messing up somehow. Your application is your first proof of being able to do the job. People will be more dismissive, but that's your own fault 99% of the time.

To me, the car was a way of getting out of heavy labor, so I could get a fancy desk job and just cool it all day and not feel like a literal labor-slave.. i was subcontracting under assholes who only had me there for the tough shit, sanding, mudding and taping corner beads on doorways and shit, basic stuff.

With car, I pay like fucking tooooo much. Forsure. I get it's retarded,

But now, I can do this office job. Which sucks harder then drywall because I not only have to DO trivial bullshit all day, I have to swim in it, fucking thinking about trivial bullshit but my boss calls me in to feed me this line about how very important it is that I improve my times which are never close enough, they just move the goalpost.

I don't wanna bitch too hard, it's a job. My point is that my commute is literally 20 minutes, so under an hour daily now

Running 13, 14 hour days everyday for 4 years will make a grand a month to ease that seem like chump change.

I just wanna be financially independent but the way things are going I don't think anybody is gonna be there for much longer.

I think things are about to.......reset.....in a major fucking way. Like.... Mars conjunction with Jupiter-level fucking moloch rituals. 100%.

I used to laugh at conspiracies.
>used to.

Or, I can drive without insurance. And never get into an accident OR get pulled over. Ever. Because it's a crazy fee if you get caught, and if u do it twice they'll jail you. First fine is like $70 > they catch u again I think it's 3 months prison, liscence revoked 2 years.

It's a completely different world from what you're used to. You need to take failures, setbacks, alienation from people around you (you'll now be an outsider/renegade in their eyes), and stuff like that in stride. You need to be in a state of personal development and self-investment at all times. Get good sleep, hydrate, etc. It's a test of your psychology I think more than anything else. Don't kill yourself (I mean literally, don't end your life). You might be tempted to do that a couple times. Don't. Having to get a part time job to generate consistent money to cover living if you need to is not a failure. There really isn't any failure anymore if you're seeing things correctly. Remember who makes you feel good during those times. Those are the people you take on vacations. When you start producing pretty good money, the tax game becomes the one you play. I cut a check to the IRS larger than what I would make in a year once upon a time and nearly clenched my jaw so hard my teeth almost shattered. I just sat in my car with a loop playing in my head "awww man...fuck...come on...fuck..." Take time to actually enjoy the money you spend. I don't do enough of this and my life is not as good as it could be relative to what I imagine it could be, although I sometimes ponder if I would even have the money I do if I operated any other way. I think most of all man, as I just rattle this shit off, have fun and be excited. "Enjoy the journey" as they say. Take it seriously, but don't take life too seriously in general.

Find people that are like you. That makes it a bit easier to keep going as well. But what I found when I followed this advice is you'll find that you'll still mostly be on an island even among other people trying to get their own game going because you'll either be competitors if you're too similar or will be in different operations so you'll never be able to totally relate. Cultivate the optimal middle range between a skeptical and open-mind. A lot of it is getting your perceptions and thinking honed. Recognize when something is a fact and when it's just an opinion. Opinions are fun because you can do whatever with them, but be careful of going against facts...make sure an opinion isn't disguised as a fact though. Another thing is don't get lazy and don't get burned out. I had a buddy that was in a totally different business (restaurants and food trucks) and he just wasn't really taking the game seriously when times were good...well COVID happened and he always seems to have money, but he hasn't had a truck out in months so I don't know where he is getting it and I don't want to ask.

He was making good money before, but had the opportunity to be making way more and he just wasn't doing it. Now, the easy money isn't so easy in his case. The expression that was drilled into my head was "grow or die." And as I type that, I guess one other thing to mention is don't put the cart before the horse. You probably shouldn't worry about growing or dying before you have something worth actually growing. The order you do things is important, but advice you get will be for different stages of the game which can lead to confusion. It did for me. So I guess a lesson that's applicable at all stages is make sure you are focused on the right things at the right times. Make sure you can sell one ice cream for a $1.00 profit before having an existential crisis over how you're going to produce one million ice creams a month. Right focus at the right times.

Generally speaking don't let people rush you either. If you have a girlfriend that wants to get married, buy a house, and start a family within the next 12 months, you really need to accept that you might not have a viable business for several years and it might be fair to her to make the holy sacrifice of "doing the right thing for the greater good" and cutting her loose. If you have friends that want to take a vacation every month, you're probably going to have to learn to say no. In fact, now that I type that, that's another thing worth mentioning. TIME MANAGEMENT! You won't have time to do things you really don't want to do (and in some cases things you want to do) so if you say yes to those things you aren't 100% on board with doing, you're just shooting yourself in the foot to be Mr. Nice Guy. Being Mr. Nice Guy is great, but it's not a free lunch.

This was a big issue for me. I felt like Hitler turning people down so I would spread myself way too thin. Which might explain why I'm now unable to even fully enjoy the money I'm making because I became my business through and through such that I can't even really take time away. It's sort of like my identity now I guess. Even time typing up these posts is time I could be dedicating to typing up an essay to help me conceptualize maybe another way to scale, so I probably should get off 4chan. But I guess that's another thing to mention before I go, find ways to actually help you think about your operation like a big game of chess. For me it's essays, walks, and talking with friends. If I move this piece...what happens. Well what about this piece? Is there any configuration I can make that will facilitate a given outcome that I want? How can I move the pieces in such a way to bring about that configuration?

And again man...have fun, don't kill yourself (again, literally), it's going to be an exciting, scary, and transformative time of your life and there are no guarantees. Embrace that, appreciate it.

Yes. Universities lie you you about job prospects, businesses lie to you about shortages, governments and businesses screw you by plugging the shortages with cheap foreign labor instead of waiting 5 years for you to train. By the time you train, the market is flooded.

Okay. €100k should certainly be attainable at that age just not in a decade if you get typical stock market returns. I will admit ignorance to how one is charged fees, taxed, or what precise options are provided in Europe as far as investments go though.

As it is, if you invested in something as simple as SPY or VOO which historically returns an average of 10-12% per year and if you scaled back to investing €3k per year to loosen your belt you can reach just under €80k through a compounding 10% annual return. You'd pass €100k in just two years from there and you would still have plenty of time to save, invest, and compound from there. Hell, twenty years out from reaching €100k you would approach €900k.

This assumes €3k per year to boot. If you continue to save as you have at €3666.67 per year you are looking at >€97k by 40 years old. If you kept it up for another two decades it's >€1M.

That is just by indexing along the S&P 500. You can take on riskier investments from there. The former scenario frees up some money - not much, but some. The second scenario assumes you continue along your current accomplishments. Hopefully you would even catch a lucky break and make more income along the way.

I did the calculations, if I did 20%/year, starting today with 16100€ I would have around 100k€ in 10 years. Do the calculations yourself.

I feel this. I worked a couple of retail jobs before school and once when I was chatting with my boss the store manager, he told me that when he is interviewing a new person he is mostly just trying to figure out if the person sitting across from him is crazy or not.

Maybe consider getting some certs and using that as a jump to have more money so you can get a new job. I can tell you if you get some certs in GIS they hire literal retards to do this kind of work.

>Do you know how I will be able to reach 100k€ with this money?
>I will have to do at least 20%/year for 10 years. I need to be as good as Lynch, Buffet, Soros, Dalio and co, for 10 years straight. Kill yourself.

So I took that as a question with a simple answer rather than as a plan.

I have been doing above 30% since I started. 20% sounds attainable.
But my point was as what you sre implying, correct. Even if I have a good performance, 100k€ is nothing. At 38yo I won't be able to finally start my life as a free man. So I wait until I am 48 to have 1M? At least in that case I could consider retirement before 70, you do have a point.
