BTC is winning for a reason - because it's simple, knows its place, and is good at what it is designed to do. It doesn't try to be everything all at once. None of the extra grime that only serves to inject uncertainty in the project, BTC is well defined and complete, which is why everyone is buying up BTC and not ETH.

If you hold the majority of your portfolio in ETH, you've backed the wrong horse, you will just continuously bleed sats. You absolutely don't want to be bleeding sats, given that BTC is literally the future of money, all the while ETH is a mistake - a ticking time bomb waiting to go off and dump to $0.

The one where you pay out the ass for gas fees...? You only need to hold eth as long as it takes to run the contract. In that case it doesn't matter what the exchange rate is. You take a wheelbarrow of cash and turn it into eth, run your contract, and then return the tiny remainder to an exchange to sell.
