Nothing is definite in this market, as you are likely well aware of.
There will be coins 100xing and even 1000xing before your eyes while your ETH slowly works their way up
DOT and ADA are good projects too, as is LINK. Maybe just do a spread, but ask yourself whether you would like to buy DOT literally at the ATH right now with +70% over the last 7 days, while ADA is up 70 % as well over the past two weeks.

It is usually a bad move to FOMO in at such times, when you're holding a coin which may well do a similar move very shortly; remember that it hasn't even reached it's ATH.
But no, I'm not sure of anything. And you may see DOT at 50 USD in a month while your ETH crabs between 1100 and 1300. But empirically speaking, it wouldn't be a wise move to reinvest now.

Absolutely, but alts will generally tank harder than BTC and ETH if that happens.
-50% on BTC will likely mean a selloff of many alts resulting in -70-80%. ETH would probably not be hit as hard
As I said it's risk management. But short-term I see ETH as having good upside and also not overexposed like some alts which have not yet stood the same test of time
