>ADA and DOT both 'Eth killers'
>dot pumping, nimble growth
>ada stalling, indestructable base

which one wins and why

Fuck you i'm gonna make it

ADA. Charles is based, he drives a lambo and milks cows

>> No.26098938

Polkadot is not an "ETH' killer. It was built to complement the ETH ecosystem.

ok ok but more specifically, am i gonna make it?

I'm running out of hopium for ETH but i don't know whether to get some DOT or go ALL IN on ADA.

Diversification is for the top 40% and I want 12 lambos

>> No.26099117

Non of those. It's a battle between ETH 2.0, Avalanche and Dfinity.

DOT all day

ADA will go fucking parabolic when Goguen releases. XRP falls under top 5 for sure, DOT probably gets overtaken (if it isn't also propelled up) but it'll still have a long way to go before killing ETH. Cardano needs to be prepared for a lengthy struggle with ETH but I think Hoskinson has it in him.

Even if ETH is stagnate, it is the undisputable leading platform and I doubt that will change. I hold all three but am more excited about the upcoming DOT auctions than anything else in the space right now.

ADA will surpass the MC of Bitcoin, it's not competing with ETH. The problem with that is that it's not going to be worth much, $5-10 at the maximum because it has a huge circulation. It's designed as a utility payment tool that can scale indefinitely and has maximum security, not as "internet gold".

Hmm, I see your strategy but allow me to offer a counterpoint.

You only need one ticket in Crypto to make a moon mission and compound your wealth by diversifying that further into more promising projects. You may get lucky and win in the first try, but chances are you're going to have winners and losers no matter how much you DD. So the better bet is to split among a bunch of winners you believe in. If even one of them makes it big, you should make more than your initial investments on everything. Learn from the losses on your first round to help you pick better coins on the second round. Keep doing this, you'll get your fucking money, it'll feel much more satisfying, and it's much more stable since if you're as good at DD as you think you are then you should consistently have more winners than losers in each batch. Your gains will outweigh your losses and get compounded.

At least that's how my strategy has been thus far. Didn't start with much but been growing more with each year I'm in this game. Getting 1 to 100 on a single trade I'd the grand dream, but chances are you'll really need to try a bit harder to make that cash.

That's what people said about ETH in 2015. Then in 2017 it was all about the "flippening"
There may be two or three smart contract platforms that do okay over the next few years, but you can bet that #1 will have several times the market cap of the followers.

This is my strategy as well. My portfolio is 60% ETH, 25% BTC, 10% DOT, 5% ADA. At some point, I might also pick one or two DeFi coins to add coverage to that sector. But I don't typically hold anything that's not in the top 10 since I only need 2-3x gains to reach my goals.
