A few constraints I have are that I'm a Canadian investor and right now, for my brokerage I'm not cleared to sell naked puts to wheel.
Have to raise my funds up in my margin acct to hit that, so I've been using put credit spreads in the meantime as a makeshift method.

So I've already done a backtest against mechanical wheeling on SPY vs using this new tool over the span of 2020. Figured it was a good year to back test given the volatility caused a lot of issues. I was using the ThinkOrSwim platform to do so. I'm looking to get it live and in people's hands. The dream would be to have it as a service I could sell, but it's still partially manual. So what I was thinking was that a person could give me a list of criteria, for example: Ticker/Call or Put/Strike/What day and time they plan to trade/etc, and on whatever day and time they wanted, I'd get the math going, and be able to message them what I think is the best option chain expiration to sell at. I've haven't gone far enough yet to work out a system for vertical spreads yet, so unfortunately I can't do much there. It's just cash secured puts and covered calls. My other worry, at least in particular to your situation is that you mention you are in Canada, and I'm not sure I necessarily have real time option data on the Canadian stock market. We would have to look into that.

I will say, just to save you the trouble, *usually* weeklies are far higher in premium return than longer expiration options based on option modeling, though that's not always the case.
