I went from 240€ to 2800€ and then to practically zero, then I got UNI tokens and sold them for 1200$ and went to 3500$ and then again practically 0. I learned my lesson not to fuck around pajeet scams, now I'm up to 17 000+ from 1inch airdrop. I always considered the lost money as necessary fee as to learn how to trade. I don't consider myself to be a good trader, and just try to find projects with good fundamentals and hodl

Diversify your portfolio, never hold one project-

Whichever project you were mining most likely didn't have the greatest most adoptable tech - hence the -200x. Especially in 2017, everything was spec.

Take profits... sometimes.
Personally, I only invest in projects I think are really fucking cool at low market caps.

Sort of like Parsiq, if I came across that project at 0.10 I probably would've put like 5k into it and just held - and kept holding. If I took profits at 0.20, that would suck. Hence why I never sell, only accumulate.

>> No.26154528

>>26148392
If you have no idea what you're doing here's the foolproof approach:
1. Find some amount of cash you're OK with spending on a weekly basis (pretend the money will disappear and make sure it disappearing won't cause you to miss bills / get evicted / get foreclosed / etc)
2. Use this cash to buy bitcoin once a week. If your amount from step 1 is $100 per week then always buy $100 worth of bitcoin regardless of if BTC price goes up or down. If it goes up your $100 will get you less BTC and if it goes down your $100 will get you more BTC
3. Keep doing this for years and don't touch your bitcoin savings
4. You'll now have a decent amount of bitcoin profit based on a steady combination of both high and low price purchases which will average out to better performance than most of the "timing the market" anons will get.
Also using bitcoin specifically for the method here was intentional. It's by far the most likely long term holding to continue being valuable since it's the first cryptocurrency that actualized the concept all the other crypto are riding on the coattails of. Other alternative coins might gain more than bitcoin does for brief periods of time but you probably won't buy and sell them during those narrow windows of opportunity and more likely instead you'll just lose money on them.

I felt bad for a lot of time, mostly because I could hear of people gettin rich. I had to study a bit, not even that much, and now I can trade relatively well. I still make mistakes but I almost never lose money
