the weather is always warm. everything is cheap, never worry about rent. you can actually have affordable sex, whether that's with a real gf or whores.
plenty of downsides though, major adjustment to what you're eating every day. its really fucking loud with motorcycles everywhere. lots of crime and poverty. I saw several quadriplegics in public squares. gangs kidnap people, dismember them, then use them as pity bait to collect donations.
people are friendlier. its easier to ignore political bullshit because its so far removed from what you normally care about.

the King says the taxis must lower their fees to flat garbage . doesn't really affect wealthy expats much. thats politics in thailand.
