Reposting to warn people from AUPH shill and other shill telling you to invest in stocks for the sole purpose of them getting PDUFA approval. This is why you buy safer pharma investments like CRBP or ATOS.

Stop buying into these PDUFA shills blindly.

Examples of PDUFA approval NOT leading to an actual solid pump which lasts long enough to humanely make profit from
>ZGNX
No pump before => Approved => +10% for 2 minutes on approval => then absolute crash => never reached that price again
>ZSAN
No pump => discipline review letter => -50% => declined/crl => -50%
>SPPI
No pump before => no rejection/delay =>-10%
>LPCN
delay at some point => +5% on pdufa day => approved =>+20%-+50% for 20 minutes => -20% => never reached that price again
>ADMP
no pump before => declined/crl => -40% => never reached that price again

If approval => you have a 2-30 minute time window to sell = else > you're fucking rekt
If CRL => you're fucking rekt
....
Not a good win/lose.

Yes. I am saying that BCRX is one of the few PDUFA stocks which actually had a solid stable pump without a dump. Not all PDUFA approved stocks dump but a lot of them do. AUPH is too risky of a play to just want to invest in it on the sole basis of PDUFA approval. Look what happened to OSMT when the BCRX shill kept spamming it on here lol. PDUFA is a huge hit or miss and is a bona fide pump and dump which can happen in the span of 2 minutes.

What the fuck does it mean when a certain option has high strikes on 1 month but smaller strikes for every other month? Like for example June 2021 has a strike for $50 and every other month only has strikes up to $10. Even 2023 only has a strike up to $10. Does that mean people are expecting a huge move in June 2021?

Even if GME crashes on monday (it won't, it's still shorted to the moon) you can still profit very nicely.

TSLA went up over 10x in 2020.
But if you want crypto-like vola, you usually either go pennystocks or you go options, both of which can be just as retarded as crypto, or even more.
Shitcoins behave basically identically to pennystocks.
Average market returns is about 7% yearly for SPY and 10% for QQQ, but picking these is for people who don't want to learn or think. There are also leveraged ETFs, such as TQQQ which sports a robust 50% CAGR, or FNGU with its 222% CAGR.
On /smg/, we often get great picks that 2x~10x in a matter of weeks. The problem is that you have to figure out which one is actually decent and which one is not on your own, and you'll often miss out as a result (see: everyone who didn't go balls deep into GME and didn't hold through a 50% dip into the current retardpump).

A call option is a contract granting you the right to purchase a security at the strike price, in this example – $115 is the strike, Friday is the expiry. Buying the right to buy 100 shares of GME at $115 by Friday is much cheaper than actually buying 100 shares of GME, this provides leverage. If GME is at or below $115 on Friday, the contract expires worthless.

I'mma tell you off the top. I wanted to take a bite of this and be like 'ehhh nah nah it it'- I'mma just flat out say it; your Impossible Whopper BK, IS BETTER THAN YOUR ACTUAL WHOPPER BK. YOUR IMPOSSIBLE WHOPPER BK IS BETTER THAN YOUR ACTUAL WHOPPER BK. IT HAS A MORE SEARED TASTE.

IT'S MORE OF A COOKOUT FLEX. IT JUST TASTES BETTER. Get over here. You get back in the bag. BK. That bite is so flavorful my m- and the fact that it works so well, it literally compliments the lettuce. Like I'm not even mad that I'm bittin' up, and I'm not even mad, that I'm eating lettuce right now and tomatoes.

You can really taste the onion because the sear, on this plant based situation right here, it's so strong and you barely get onion but the onion's there so you get a crunch off it, with soft bun action and SBA? BK, YOU'RE ONTO SOMETHING, AND I LIKE WHERE YOU, YOU GOIN' BK, THE IMPOSSIBLE WHOPPER SON!

i'm too brainlet to understand selling call options

if i bought 100 calls with a strike of $100, and the stock goes up to $200, i should be able to sell it for a premium of around (100*(200-100)) = $10,000, right?

but from what i'm reading, if I sell my options, and the person I sell them to decides to exercise them, ***I*** have to pay to buy the stocks to sell to them at whatever their market price is? why would i ever sell this unless i believe the price is absolutely not going to go up any further?

I don't think we are actually out of the bear market and here is why:
1. the fundamental economic situation has not recovered. Despite vaccines we are still losing people and consumer indexes are low
2. unemployment numbers aren't good
3. we have continues federal reserve intervention
4. people are greedy, not optimistic
5. smart money is extra careful (Buffet, fund managers)
6. interest rates are low
7. consumer confidence is low
8. memestocks like Tesla, Bitcoin, risky assets are at ATH

If you are a big chad (like me) you pick a stock you are never planning to sell or you don’t care if you are in the red for some time because you know its not a meme (MSFT, APPL, BLK, you know what i mean), you throw alot of money into it, keeping some cash to average down, and you swing a portion of your stack for 5~10%. Its not alot of money (percentage-wise) but its safe and comfy as fuck. Most of these companies pay divvies as well so if you bought the local top and have to hold for a bit, you still enjoy occasional divvie gains.

You're mixing up buying open and selling open, vs closed. Go to investopedia and read about it. You buy open a call, hopefully it goes up in value, then you sell close for profit and go buy steak dinner.
A stock going from 100 to 200 underlying price is dramatic increase and would tend to make options bought at low strikes almost all intrinsic value, but it all depends on strike and expiration, as time value is a real thing.
