Just finished his book, he literally trades using the 5 and 25 MA and the orderbook.

>> No.26478454

Trading off vibes and very simple MA is the only way to trade because all technical analysis is inherently programmed and manipulated by bots, whatever market.

trading is a lot more than what indicator
im sure a great trader could pick up trading with a new indicator in a short time frame
whereas a shit trader will be a shit trader no matter the indicator

probably not but he says he uses some arbitrary MA to spot the trend and the actual setup is even simplier, its like orderbook, supply/demand inbalance only. Zero fundamentals.
I think on 2ch they say he MIGHT be using a bot to get into positions since he's trading hundreds of millions

I must be a fuckin brainlet then because TA doesn't work for me a lot of the time. I spent hours reading shit and watching videos in the summer and go burned on swing trading options. I tried to apply my teachings "algorithmically" e.g. Ok it hit the lower end of a Bollinger Band AND the RSI is low AND then 15 SMA crossed above the 50 SMA, time to buy.. etc etc. oh well, wagie it is for me!

Overcomplicating things is often very confusing, i noticed that when i'm trying to use tons of indicators i get stuck and lose the big picture.
A lot of traders advice is to keep things clear and simple, and focus on the chart.
Maybe he achieved to have a very good winning rate so he doesn't need tools.
The rest (risk management) is well known among professional traders.

The problem you're experiencing is because TA is useless today. You are trading against algos that are skimming and front running. Some folks have success following the big money (ex:ARK, other funds).

Trading purely on TA is not feasible. It has already been proven countless times that 99.99999999% of Traders lose at the end of the day. There are outliers and this Jap might be one of them.

I was currently looking at my performance and realized that if I had put everything I had 8 months ago into AAPL and forgot about it, I would have doubled my money in complete safety. A 100% gain in about 8 months and not spent a moment even looking at the market.

There is no book. He is Anon and goes buy CIS

CIS’s secret formula of success is: “Buy stocks that are being bought, and sell stocks that are being sold”. His other formula is “I do my best work when other people are panicking” i.e. take advantage of other peoples’ irrational fear.

And there you have it. He trades off the emotion of the markets.

I don't think trading is for anyone except a lucky few. I'm happy with my results and I sleep well knowing I never need to trade or work another day in my life if I don't want to.

Why do you assume I didn't invest in BTC? My intention was to convey that you don't have to spend everyday trading and could easily double your money investing in companies like AAPL.

TA is useless if you dont know how to manage risk. Most successful traders have loss rates at like 40-55% meaning they lose money on half of their trades, but because they cut losers immediately their gains on winning trades far exceed their losses.

It's mostly mental

You can straight up give people buy/sell signals but they're overcome by the mental aspect, refusing to sell and take a small loss, scared to buy because it already went up, ect

Once I blindly used my buy and sell signals without thinking I started making money, you can do all sorts of fancy TA and other shit but if you aren't going to pull the trigger it's already over
