defi is going to get repriced again. it's the only tangible development in crypto since the last bubble. Eth is the only platform for usable dapps that have value in them and generate fees. Anyone with a brain and a desire to make money realized this a year ago. The laggards will realize it this year, and eventually retail will get dumped on at a huge markup.

The top ten will be entirely Eth and Defi, LInk and BTC.Top 10 Marketcap will hit 20 Trillion by eoy. Other shit will moon but Uni, Aave, SNX, YFI, and the like will continue to be the big winners of this run. All shitcoins will moon but defi will continue to outgain.

Thanks. I should have added Synthetix to my pic, as it follows the charts almost perfectly as well.

Yes, you will get shilled a bunch of 'defi gems' but only shit that people actually use is a really solid bet for the coming year and probably years.

Most of the retards flipping cryptos don't realize that these protocols actually earn you fees instead of being your typical vaporware scam that gets shilled here.

do you think DPI is a good investment? isn't it literally betting off of defi's success?

>> No.26549558

>>26549513
DPI is a defi index, it has direct exposure to the price action of a lot of defi tokens.

>> No.26549592

>>26549558
yeah but would there be downsides to getting into that instead of just directly going into AAVE/SNX/UNI, etc?

Maker already mooned hard for compound. I'd like to see AAVE at 1K soon myself.

Yeah, I’ve done well on MKR. I just feel like AAVE is getting toppy. At least with compound I think there’s M-Cap room to catch up to AAVE.

Thoughts on this Google quote "On Compound and Aave you can borrow Dai, whereas on Maker you can mint it. If you want a large amount of Dai, borrowing it from Compound or Aave will push up the interest rate. At Maker you can mint as much as the debt ceiling for your collateral will permit at the prevailing stability fee."

Toppy at the moment compared to Compound relative to total supply. 16MM. vs. 10MM. Big mkt cap difference. AAAVE does have much higher trading volume though.

>> No.26551711

Ive been buying them, but the big problem is this: the tokens themselves do absolutely nothing, they're just a "governance token"

They aren't used for any real purpose like paying gas fees, or giving you a % of the exchange like KCS does.

I buy it or Futures it especially since they're so reliable but I think they're quite useless as far as I know

It’s a collateralized derivatives trading platform with a pretty unique model.
