what's causing this growth? is it organic or just people spamming transactions

I dunno, probably spam, havent looked into it. There might be some new app developed as well that cashies started using a lot. Either way, shows the durability and scalability of the network tho

Something, something, arguments over Bitcoin's lack of scalability - it's speed for transactions - and a split was initiated, creating Bitcoin Cash. There've many different splits from Bitcoin over the years: Bitcoin Gold, Bitcoin SV, Bitcoin Diamond, etc.

It's become increasingly clear over the past couple years that PoW (proof of work) based coins are flawed as they're not effectively scalable, causing slow transaction times. It's one reason why Ethereum is moving from PoW to PoS (proof of stake), a much more efficient method for achieving quick transaction times. Many of the newer, lesser-known coins are developed as PoS as well.

Check BSV, I bet you'll see similar action. People are accumulating because there are so many newfriends getting into PMs and Crypto because of stonks that the whalefrens are probably hedging that people will go for "the less expensive BTC"

Lmao, so satisfying to see. Almost no new serious blockchain being developed is PoW and doesnt have smart contracts. Even bcash is trying to develop onchain smart contracts. They still want to be cucks to the chinese miners tho.

holy shit, the recent BCH spam seems to be some BSV spam source who switched sides. I guess they knew BSV is empty promises and got fed up. Now trying their luck with pamping BCH numbers.

If you think this can be organic growth in such a short timeframe please don't invest, your IQ is too low. They distribute free money to pajeets to spam the chain.

PoW was an interesting theory, and it seemed like a good idea back in the day. But in practice, it's been a poor performer. And it's been a major concern that mining has become consolidated to those who can run large mining farms
