First, the peg is 1 USD from 2019, not that inflated current day $1
Second, rebase happens daily but the quantity it changes is calculated for a period of 10 days. So in an ideal world, a rebase today would mean in 10 days the demand would meet the offer and price balances out nicely. This 10 day period is recalculated every rebase, so the percentage that is taken or given varies consistently and happens along several days or weeks.
Finally, just buy on low MC and then sell on a higher MC Its how it works.
