Their staking system is actually really well done. I think thrice every time I consider undelegating. I'm very bullish on this.

>> No.27220020

>>27219891
I don't think Exodus supports it. Check their main site, you have to delegate on one of their indexers. Make sure you check the fee and rewards cut. Look up a YouTube video for delegating, it's pretty easy you can do it through metamask. I wouldn't bother if you have less than 10k but you can. Also be aware that .5% is burned upon delegating so factor that in with how long you will need to do it for before making that back.

>> No.27220200

Same. The idea of not earning rewards for a full month makes me stay. When the value is into the moon I'll probably only sell whatever my reward is. Original stack won't get touched.

>> No.27220309

>>27219993
https://network.thegraph.com/

You can delegate there. What I mean by it's good is that since there is the .5% burn rate along with a 28 day period where your funds are locked and you can't earn rewards during the process of undelegating, it gives the delegator a huge incentive to keep delegating. Instead of them being able to just dump on the market at will, this way the price is more stable and even if people are undelegating in mass there's the burn rate which is still good for the overall price. That's why I'm bullish. It seems like a good swing coin too so you just have to decide what you'd rather do. For newbies I say get a decent stack and just delegate and I see this going above $1 easy in the future.

When the team announces more updates on the projects and releases new features this shit will really take off.

Currently, there have been 10mil minted and 6.8 mil burned. So the inflation isn't actually 3%.
But payments, once they go online, will also burn .1%. So this thing could actually become deflationary.

As far as allocation goes this is pretty good. Eth, and GRT I think are great holds this year and in the future. I haven't been following XLM as much but I could see it pumping, protip is XLM typically follows XRP's price movement very closely in the past. The safest and best portfolio is probably eth, link, and grt imo. I would also say the same thing to you though, work and acquire more capital to invest. This year we'll probably see good growth but I believe next year is going to be the biggest, that's when this entire system will really sprout it's legs and get going. There's still time.

guys, need your help lol

so the problem is my cucked state (in the US) doesn't let me use Wyre (Metamask's partner to transfer currency), and I have verifications/transaction hell pending on absolutely everything else (Coinbase) related to crypto. I'd absolutely like to get in and help you out, but the thing is I just can't move my Eth out of the Coinbase portfolio yet (transactions still pending), binance is cucked in my state and won't deal with me, etc. I've tried several exchanges and they all give me the same bullshit.

Basically I just need a way to quickly get USD, ETH or whatever from cc (if there's another way that works through middlemen virtually I could try that but broker fees will be annoying) so I can dump it all into this.

GRT solves a problem. The problem is big. It's solvable without The Graph, but it's a huge pain. It involves writing a lot of complicated, custom code, which takes time and effort, and introduces the risk of making a mistake somewhere along the way. It's "boilerplate" code that shouldn't have to be rewritten for every single project!

The Graph removes an entire layer of writing decentralized apps. I think of it like what game engines did for the games industry. Years ago, before game engines like Unreal and Unity existed, game programmers had a lot more tedious work to do. They needed to write custom graphics code themselves to do something as simple as rendering a cube on the screen. They had to write complex code that would interact with the sound card, just to play audio. But then game engines came along and said...

>Hey game programmers, you all keep writing this same complicated stuff over and over again! Why don't we bundle all that complex functionality together into a tool that you can easily reuse for all your games? That way you focus your time on writing the code that's actually specific to your game.

What did that do for the games industry? It resulted in an explosion of new developers and better games. Suddenly, it was so much easier for indie software developers to make full-fledged games, without having to spend weeks just trying to get a damn cube shown on the screen. People who would have never dreamed of making a game were able to get involved.

The Graph does something similar for decentralized apps. With it, developers can spend less time writing the complicated but common stuff. They can spend more time on the app itself.

protofire.eth, watched a poojeet tutorial about choosing delegators that didnt mention anything important, got baited by the 2 low cut numbers and jumped the gun before doing proper research.
GRT was always gonna be my long term hold so its not as if It's going to fuck me up completely because I was gonna sell it anytime soon but still it hurts knowing that I'm losing potential delegation gains because I blundered so hard, the thawing period really is crazy long

I have ryabina with 10k GRT and it feels slow. I gain 0.18 GRT per hour.

what's wrong with protofire? it seems to have a similar APY to P2P.

just tripled my staking position in the last few days. Shit's good, easy to use and solves an upcoming problem once blockchains are everywhere

Nice dubs, faggots.

I made 10 dollars in Ethereum and transferred it to The Graph and XLM.

Today I bought 20 dollars worth of it

Be careful because there is 28 day cool down if you decide to undelegate.

i read on the discord that protofire is not giving out the rewards daily like p2p is due to gas fees. that number might be inaccurate, unless you are delegating a very small stack. pretty new to this though

Well I was in it for a week, in any case I've undelegated now so I've blundered in some way and the result is the same
