>"SAVERS could be here" he thought, "I've never been in this rate range before. There could be SAVERS anywhere." The cool wind felt good against his bare chest. "I HATE SAVERS" he thought. For the Love of Money reverberated his entire car, making it pulsate even as the $9000 wine circulated through his powerful thick veins and washed away his (merited) fear of deflation in the economy. "With a printer, you can go anywhere you want" he said to himself, out loud.

Understood. I believe in NIO because of their solution to batteries becoming obsolete every few years. They broken downtrend it seems. I'll be monitoring situation on Monday though to see if it's not dead cat bounce
.
And BHS.V I recommend as someone who spends lots of time on /pmg/. BHS.V is "late bloomer". All other mining stocks mooned at the end of 2020. BHS.V didn't because it's under the radar and they just started extracting silver. They should reach ~1mil of silver concentrate. They would be profitable even if silver spot price was at $12. Not, they are just at 4mil market cap, while other miners are in tens of millions, some over houndred (but those are bigger players).
Also expect this stock to moon even more when it get into core list at https://www.goldventures.org/blog/silver-sitfolio

>> No.27231230

In retrospect, the Occupy Wall Street movement missed a trick. Protests in lower Manhattan annoyed some of the passing bank- ers. The tents clustered outside the London Stock Exchange got in the way of a quick trip to Starbucks. But the events of the past week show that the way to really upset the financial elites is to do it from the inside.

For the rarefied community of hedge fund managers and professional inves- tors, the problem, of course, is that the great unwashed has jumped into the stock market. In size.

In 2020, the democratisation of finance blossomed. In theory this should be the sort of thing that the wholesale financial industry applauds. Many a World Economic Forum session in Davos has agonised over how to enhance financial inclusion, to help those less fortunate through the gifts of the financial markets.

But the newcomers sidestepped much of the financial establishment, and in particular the smartly dressed, highly qualified professionals who earn a fee for packaging up products into funds. Instead, a price war cut the cost of retail trading, in effect, to zero.

Nice. I opened a Questrade Friday after getting fed up with Wealthsimple, since the USD conversion rates can also be pretty cucked and the deposits take fucking ages.
I'm hesitant because I don't have enough USD to really make it very worth it, and am only planning to do miniscule poorfag buys with our weak dollar, but on the other hand, there just aren't that many options. Hm. I'm with RBC and they have a similar fee, but they process Direct Investment signups pretty slowly, it seems; signed up middle of this week and they're still processing. In any case, I took a second look and since I'm a poorfag and buying low volumes, the transaction fees matter. Sadly.

>What went wrong with America’s $44 million vaccine data system?

>The CDC ordered software that was meant to manage the vaccine rollout. Instead, it has been plagued by problems and abandoned by most states.

https://www.technologyreview.com/2021/01/30/1017086/cdc-44-million-vaccine-data-vams-problems/

>So early in the pandemic, the CDC outlined the need for a system that could handle a mass vaccination campaign, once shots were approved. It wanted to streamline the whole thing: sign-ups, scheduling, inventory tracking, and immunization reporting.

>In May, it gave the task to consulting company Deloitte, a huge federal contractor, with a $16 million no-bid contract to manage “covid-19 vaccine distribution and administration tracking.” In December, Deloitte snagged another $28 million for the project, again with no competition. The contract specifies that the award could go as high as $32 million, leaving taxpayers with a bill between $44 and $48 million.

>Why was Deloitte awarded the project on a no-bid basis? The contracts claim the company was the only “responsible source” to build the tool.

Alright I'll try that.
Ubisoft has a market cap around twice that of Cd Project and makes about 1.something billion $ in revenue a year from their annual release of open world busywork simulator #161.
Cyberpunk 2077 cost 330million to develop in total and the 15million sales they had at the end of 2020 already made that back 3fold and close in on ubisofts revenue.
CD Projekts market cap is half that of ubisoft.

The thing people don't understand about PLTR is that its basically a Data Science outsourcing company. They build a new product for every customer (yes, yes, they have advertised "solutions" in the PR material, but those are mostly lego blocks).
They cannot scale as well as companies selling off-the-shelf stuff for no cost. Also integration and maintenance costs will eat them up. They got most of their govt contracts way below cost, only as a "foot in the door" kind of deal, expecting way juicier contracts in the future. They may not get those juicy contracts if they start to slip on maintenance.
I'm also sure that incumbent defense contractors will lobby them out as soon as they become even a bit successful.

No such thing as off-the-shelf stuff in projects like that. You always must adapt to what your client is already using. Building with blocks is most flexible way to go.
"foot in the door" is not bad at all. They get recognition, new contacts and can proove that their solutions work. It's also lots of information for them. By learning what their clients are using right now, they will be able to offer better servies to new ones.
