>should i buy now?
yes, DCA and hold
>don't short, don't go long on margin trading platforms, don't leverage
>JUST BUY BTC AND KEEP YOUR PRIVATE KEYS SAFE, OFFLINE
>50% crashes are normal, get used to them
>CBDC (central bank digital currencies) are a scam, literally a dystopian fully tracked FIAT 2.0 system where you bleed purchasing power but you also give away your privacy
>every project shilling CBDC is a scam
>sats is all that matters, all shitcoins bleed to zero in the long term
>if you chase pump and dumps you will be left bagholding bleeding shitcoins
>don't keep your btc in an exchange, buy them and transfer/store them offline immediately, safely, do 100 backups of the wallet.dat or the seed key, again offline
>don't trust "someone", not even if he is a a "trusted" public figure with a great cv
>don't trust services like paypal, or future scammy services
>don't wrap your btc (wbtc/sbtc/tbtc/renbtc and similar are scams, and they will run away with your private keys, while you will be bagholding a worthless erc20 shit-token)
>don't buy btc with funds like grayscale, you have to pay a premium and you are not even sure if they are 100% backed by btc, high risk of fractional reserve and no key ownership
>don't think it's too late, it's never late, i was buying below 1000$ and i still keep buying above 30000$
>don't swing, it's risky and you will not sleep at night, hold for a few years, this will ensure you will hold during the way up with 2k green daily candles
>btc is the most safe but asymmetric bet you can do right now
>remember to convert your entire savings into btc, each month, stacking like a maniac, and you will do just fine
>1 BTC might seem expensive, but you can buy fractions, a fraction of BTC is still worth a lot of money
>if you have an expensive car and paying maintenance, insurance and taxes, consider selling it for btc
>btc is an appreciating asset, not a liability
>btc is not an investment, but the best form of savings
DON'T FUCK IT UP ANON

>is $X enough to put into BTC?
think about it this way. If your Dollar would be hard, sound money, censorship resistant, permissionless, hard capped, inevitable treasure, would you keep it? The answer should be yes. Now, since your Dollar is the exact opposite, you should trade in whatever amount you have for the one with all positive properties united in it, and hold that.

Bitcoin, Monero and Ethereum are the only 3 cryptos guaranteed to still be worth anything in 5 years time.

Newfag here, what is this and how do I do it? I just bought on binance, transferred to ledger and wrote down the 24 Word key

store it safely, never lose it

I have been always ethereum guy, so I will probably hold till I'm millionaire or it's worth nothing. I started my crypto jorney by mining ETH while it was worth 2 usd and I'm going to finish it to ETH. Every other coin is bump and dumb excluding BTC

I keep my bitcoin on an exchange because I feel like there are more moving parts and thus risk factors with offline storage than there are with online storage
I also don’t plan on holding longer than the end of the year otherwise I would

>CBDC (central bank digital currencies) are a scam, literally a dystopian fully tracked FIAT 2.0 system where you bleed purchasing power but you also give away your privacy
You know the blockchain network is a public ledger, right?
I agree with everything else you said though

>feel like there are more moving parts and thus risk factors with offline storage than there are with online storage
then they freeze your account and you lost everything
monetary sovereignty is a big thing
you could fly in another continent with 24 words and all your networth would be untouchable, unconfiscatable
>I also don’t plan on holding longer than the end of the year otherwise I would
that's also a pretty bad decision
>You know the blockchain network is a public ledger, right?
but your address will be fully associated with a government id card
with crypto (except Monero) everything is tracked, but you can have infinite addresses, use coinjoin, etc...

>that’s also a pretty bad decision (regarding hold length)
I’m looking to swing but on a much longer timescale. Sell near the top of the cycle and then buy back in during the bear market low.
If you don’t believe in stock to flow or the halving cycles and subsequent bull and bear markets it produces then that’s cool but that’s how I play my investment strategy

>> No.27337479

>>27337389
just don't come crying here when there won't be an extended bear market after the next top but rather a crabbing on high levels.

it's still a risk
what if it doesn't crash and you miss out Elon Musk going all in in 2023 that would be your ideal bottom?

It probably won’t be different
But if things do start to look different I’ll change up my plan. I just go with the flow of the market. I don’t think I know what’s going to happen but I definitely have some ideas

Trash advice.
BTC is going down like in 2017, and once it does you buy the dip.

What about BlockFi? Is it safe? Earning interest is good and I can always withdraw if/ when USA goes to shit

Based on what I read it can be a little cumbersome moving the money around
Do your own research though, personally I don’t use it but that’s just me and lots of others do use it obviously
