Same bro, I bought my first stock at 23 but I had no idea what I was doing. At that point I had been keeping like 30k on my bank account with 0% interest for years. It wasn't until 25 I really started to study this shit. I partly blame my parents since they are more or less financially illiterate and never taught me anything about finances.

>slow steady gains
>TSLA went from 15 to 900 dollars in less than 10 years

Slow steady gains usually means working a 9-5 job with a raise pegged to inflation coupled with promotions over 40 years of employment coupled with increasing your value by 10% a year by paying your mortgage and investing in the market in bluechips, eventually having several millions to retire on when you're closing in on 70. But this is for boomers as the economy is too volatile for millennials to win like that.

I never made any large mistakes like debt but i really regrett my car purchase (new car broke down after only 9 years of use. never buy VW) and the travels. If i had saved all these, i probably would have more than 30k € for investing, which is a lot for me.
Now i have 2k € to my name at 29 years.

I'm honestly not 100% sure, fren. I didn't have a car payment, and I even lived with roommates for a year paying $450/month in rent. I ate out a lot, went on road trips a lot, and gave a bunch of money to my family, that's probably where most of my money went.
