You're still in a "make it" mindset. I can't take those risks so I'm just buying crypto instead of stocks. The returns on some of these are so great from just chucking in a few hundred every paycheck at grt, aave, avax, BTC or a dozen others that it beats the shit out of traditional investing. I take little risks compared to the swing traders and guys buying shitcoins from uniswap hoping they'll pump for a few hours but I am seeing anything I put in grow like crazy if I don't sweat the dips and know I put my money where my research took me.

I started low and took the opposite approach to most. Instead of trying to take a ton of risks to grow my capital early I just grew it slowly so when I took risks I was more experienced and had more money to play with.

I've got a background in computery things and have invested for over 20 years and that's the mindset I decided to take.
