It's a WWE move with you physically harm some with a "short ladder". This is something I've never stood with and should be abolished. And who doesn't believe is short ladder attacks is either an bot or smooth brained.

From what I understood. Its a strategy in artificially lowering prices via sending trades back and forth over and over again in waves of less than a cent at current price at set intervals to trick the algorithm that controls the price of the stock into thinking its a sell off an gradually lower price. However the conditions to pull such a strat require the perfect opertunity, i.e. halting buying on a stock and only allowing sells. You cant do that to every broker but it worked because the vast majority of gme buyers were using RH because of instant deposit.

It's hard to tell what these big invincible companies can actually do.

Say you assume collusion between the market entities, but stop at say government-level collusion.

Assume a bunch of mega-rich fucks who all depend on each other are colluding to maintain the status quo, but not to the point where they are paying off the govt to get away with it.

They are so rich they can eat lawsuits for breakfast, pay virtually any fine, and throw people under the bus for jail time. But i would feel unrealistic where they have the govt/SEC helping them get away with it. They might be able to pressure the govt/SEC to look the other way to some degree since they have lobbying power, but not to actually go full corrupt.

What could they achieve under these rules?
