Hi frens,

I've been looking at expanding my mining rig. I could spend the big bucks for a 3070/3080 but if mining goes downhill then video cards will flood the market and I'll probably lose a few hundred of value per card. On the other hand I can grab a humble 1070 Ti for about 1/4 of the price of a 3080. The potential downside on the GPU price is inherently limited by the fact that the card is already quite cheap. This seems less risky than blowing a lot on a fancy video card and hoping that mining profitability doesn't decline soon.
