It will only start pumping when it is going to be flipped out of the top 10. If BCash is going to flip it, it will pump before it falls out. If it's XLM, it will sit at 11 for 12-36 hours and start to crawl back up when XLM retraces. Probably the same with DOGE. Then maybe LINK gains a bit to buffer it for awhile.

This is 100% true. There are lots of better plays than LINK. If you're flipping pocket change, DeFi ponzis and DOGE are better. DOGE is all China wash trading and arbitrage to milk reddit, so it will cut you down if you're trading too large a stack. If you're in 6-7 figures ADA and DOT and ETH have been able to handle the volume.

I understand the market motivations better than you do. Crypto is a circus until ETH layer 2 has been around for a couple of years. After half a year of it, it'll be time to take positions in undervalued infrastructure that looks like it'll actually be used (LINK). Until then it's memes and ponzis and reading for different narratives that are going to play out and bait gamblers.

Right now it's headed back to staking and ETH killers and reserve tokens for initial offerings. LINK is obviously not going to be doing pool offerings in LINK this time around, nor is it going to be implementing staking in the near future because LINK has to allow for tokenomics to support nested LINK invocations in use cases people don't yet understand. It's not hurr durr proof of stake. So it's not coming any time soon.
