Still believe that this project is going to be a household name someday.
That being said, this is pretty painful and I'm actually considering starting a shill campaign on reddit and maybe twitter. Just a little publicity could make a big difference.

the way it integrates with smart contracts is game changing in crypto. nobody is really using smart contracts though, they're just piling up their stinky linkies.

it will act as a sort of insurance against a smart contract gone wrong. it goes well beyond that though.

>> No.28052478

It can potentially provide smart contracts with a ton of valuable information in a trustless, decentralized manner. Link is valued so highly because it ports data from trusted data feeds on chain trustlessly, privately, and securely, but a lot of information is not available in that form.
A major use case that they are just starting to explore is smart contract insurance, which is going to be revolutionary for attracting actual companies to smart contracts. How do you prove that a smart contract didn't execute as intended without going back to trusting a third party? You need a decentralized dispute resolution layer. If smart contracts ever take off, they need a better way to manage risk. Everyone is going to use this.

Just look at the latest scandal w/ DeFi insurance not paying out after the yDAI vault hack. Kleros solves this & the first insurance platform that integrates on-chain arbitration through Kleros will succeed.

I don't understand why it's been steadily dumping for the past month. It's a solid project with good fundamentals. I can understand stagnation or slow growth, but this shit is ridiculous.

This sort of thing is why I'm still long-term bullish on pnk. It's a unique project looking to provide a necessary service and has no real competition.

The idea of smart contracts executing complex actions in a decentralized trustless manner is revolutionary, but it's something I can't fully "trust" when all it takes is a hack or bug in the code for things to go tits-up. I can't bring myself to trust things like DeFi staking for this reason. There needs to be something like a subjective oracle at the absolute backend, in case things go completely FUBAR.
