Prove to me that crypto isn't just a speculative bubble.

It has no intrinsic value.

The reason a REAL currency has value is because a government has made it legal tender in a country - acceptable for the settlement of all debts. Also, central banks ensure that the value of a currency doesn't fluctuate too much, which gives further confidence in the currency (people want a stable value).

Crypto doesn't have any of this. Which means it doesn't really have any use, besides maybe criminal transactions.

So isn't crypto just a speculative bubble?

Wrong!! people give value to a currency no the government

the government is not trust anymore, has screwed up so many times now, the only way for people to escape an abusive and greedy currency is by crypto

Black pill: Speculative bubbles last long enough that it doesn't matter that they are bubbles. Look at real estate or TSLAs valuation etc. Bagholders will be BTFO, but in any market crash even the rational investors who do research and due diligence and pick stocks with reasonable valuations will also get BTFO because everyone else fucked up

Also the intrinsic value in bitcoin and most crypto is the lack of centralization. You don't need a bank to be the middle man between you and the person you want to send funds to. Doing this in a secure and global way is not easy but bitcoin can do this reasonably well. That is its intrinsic value. All the people who compare BTC to gold and talk about gold having inherent value because it can be made into jewellery or electronics are missing the point of the technology stack access that comes baked in with BTC

What is the point of investing in Bitcoin now. Unless you’re a retard and think it’ll go to a fucking billion per coin. Everyone’s saying it’ll go up to 100K soon. So I’ll have a x2 profit? That’s not that much.

Should I treat Bitcoin more like a highly growing stock? So I should put money for “saving” into Bitcoin like I would a 401K or retirement account, since it’ll generate more money for me? And the rest of the money I make, I’m better off putting in alts for a x5 or x10 or x100

Like I put $1000 in Bitcoin now. A few years from now I might have $2000 - $5000? Whoopy freaking doo

Can someone explain why I’m dumb?

Also, even from this morning, 100K would have been a 2.5X, not a 2X. And the 100K prediction is in six months, which is an absolutely fantastic rate of return for what has become a reasonably safe investment.

Good? You mean that it's virtually not accepted as a currency anywhere and is incredibly volatile? That's not good characteristics of a currency. The reason for it's volatility is because it is simply a tool for speculation.

Crypto fags really have a nigger level IQ.

This should be seen as a HUGE red flag. Elon has been taking part in hyping meme stocks lately and has seen the effects his tweets has on the market. Him tweeting literally increased the value of BTC by 13%. Would that happend with any FIAT currency if Elon tweeted that he was bullish on that country? No. BTC is a tool of speculation and works literally like a prymaid scheme. Crypto fags want to recruit more to increase the demand for crypto and thus increasing their wallet value. Do note that said wallets value is measured in fiat currency and net gain in fiat currency is what BTC is used to increase. It completely invalidates itself.
